I believe the map for Xaryxispace lists the distance to the Astral sea wrong. It lists Xaryxis being 400 million miles(4 days' travel) from the Astral sea. This should by 700 million miles. (7 days' travel)
* Vaerduran is 600 million miles (6 days’ travel) to edge, Vaerduran is 100 million miles (1 days' travel) to Xaryxis
* Rivus is 500 million miles (5 days’ travel) to edge, Rivus is 200 million miles (2 days' travel) to Xaryxis
* Xaryndar is 400 million miles (4 days’ travel) to edge, Xaryndar is 300 million miles (3 days' travel) to Xaryxis
* Imperial Citadel is 400 million miles (4 days’ travel) to edge, Imperial Citadel is 300 million miles (3 days' travel) to Xaryxis
They all add up to 700 million miles (7 days' travel)

When making a Giff character in the builder, the walking and swimming speed is listed as 30 ft, but on the character sheet it lists both speeds as 20 instead.

Mine shows 30 feet. Is your character encumbered? That can reduce speed.
Apparently the Ancient Solar Dragon has less HP in the books (333 (18d20 + 144)) and its CR is 20 while in DDB it's 425 (23d20 + 184) and its CR is 21.
I dont know if this has already been mentioned but stats of some of the enemies and creatures differ from their book counterparts.
First example being ancient solar dragon, on dndbeyond has a hotpoint of 425 (23d20 + 184) while the book shows 333 (18d20 + 144) there are others as well thats just the first example I found.
The rules, stat blocks and other information on D&D Beyond is always the most up-to-date version of the content.
I can confirm for you that what you're seeing on the site is correct.
When you give a character the Astral Drifter background, it doesn't add the Magic Initiate feat automatically. If you add it manually, you still can't choose the cleric cantrips or spell that you're supposed to get.
This is indeed an issue. Adding the Feat does no good if there is no way to select the spells that go with it.
Sad irony that someone went through the trouble of creating a graphic that shows the selection of this exact Feat, but they didn't take a moment to see if the Feat is actually working.

You go to your character sheet, go to "Features & Traits", click on the "Feats" tab, click "Manage Feats", locate "Magic Initiate (Cleric)", click the "Add" button (now a little blue "!" should appear next to the feat), click on the feat to reveal the options, pick your options, you now have the Magic Initiate (Cleric) feat.
I am able to access the sourcebooks, but when I try to create a new character the new races and backgrounds from Spelljammer are just not there. I see it working on other peoples accounts but for some reason not for myself. Has this been happening to anyone else? Is there some sort of feature I need to turn on or off?
EDIT: FIXED - signed in and signed out, no go. But then signed in and signed out twice in a row and it kicked in.

Thank you so much! I had looked everywhere except back in the "manage feats" where I first chose the feat. I do indeed see a blue ! and it gives me the choices. Thanks for your help!

No, our DM tends to not use encumbrance so it's usually turned off. But the PC has an 12 STR and only carrying 102 lbs. and with the hippo build that makes carrying capacity 360 lbs. It's like that on the exported PDF file as well.
Normally, character backgrounds come with suggested characteristics, like a personality trait, an ideal, a bond, and a flaw.
There seem to be no suggested characteristics for the two new backgrounds included in SPELLJAMMER. Is this an error or was it intentionally done?

I don't know if this is a D&D Beyond issue.
I don't have the physical book. So I don't know if what is printed in the book matches what is on the site.
Flinders is correct.

I have never heard of the word flinders before.
splinters; small pieces or fragments.
Best part of reading is picking up knowledge… and I mean that, not trying to be a wide as. Flinders is new to me too but I’ll use it in the future!
Glad I could help!

Is the PC in heavy armor? Wearing heavy armor with a STR of 12, unless it's ring mail, would reduce their speed by 10 feet.
