So I have a Master Tier, and Content Shared to my current Tuesday game.
After the game, I had one of them go - Create A New Character, Turn on Dragonlance Content - but indeed, the option to create a Kender, for example, isn't there.
So I too can confirm - I, as the content owner, can see it - but my players can't.
Preview books are showing “ New Moon. Evocation and necromancy spells” & “Crescent Moon. Divination and transmutation spells”, on here is showing “New Moon. Enchantment and necromancy spells” & “Crescent Moon. Illusion and transmutation spells“. Can you confirm which is correct?
considering i live in Belgium and i like to support my LGS for physical books. However i did bought the digital edition here on D&D beyond, as i have a legendary bundle and buy everything, have a game master subscription as well.
I'm a bit annoyed that we do not get early acces simply because we didn't bought the bundle. Spelljammer i had early acces, so if this is the way WOTC will go in the future i'll be very dissapointed, they said this is a test phase but i do not like this bundle thing they did. As it fully bypasses any LGS and ****s them right over.
Tried this, found the email, but it doesn't have the link in it. Going to the order details on the dndstore page just gives me instructions to redeem the activation key, but no key.
I ordered the deluxe edition with the board game. I am very disappointed how they are handling this, as they've given no known response to anyone on the issue.
My DM bought this physical and digital bundle to get early access. He shared the content with the campaign and we can all see the early access content in DnD Beyond, but we cannot use any of the new character options to build our PCs (he has the Dragonlance content set to share with the campaign). Is there something preventing the new character options from being shared to build PCs with early? Thanks!
Can you do me a favor and have your DM try to turn OFF content sharing, then re-enable it? Typically that helps kick things into gear for the character builder!
Sorry for long delay, love outage work calls. I'm posted after Thrawn but am in the same situation. Yes, I turned off content sharing, turned it back on. They can see the source book, but cannot choose any of the options in the character editor or on their character sheets. Master Tier Sub here, and had players in two campaigns both confirm earlier.
Same for me. The only email I received was for the sales receipt. No confirmation or anything to activate. Under my account, it says that my entitlements are in sync. No button to refresh that either.
I do seem to have the Leather dice set, but the adventure, kender race and new backgrounds and subclasses all bring up a "Page Not Found" error. Nothing available in character creation either, even though I have the Dragonlance slider checked.
EDIT: It appears I also have been somewhat misled into thinking I'd have access as of 11/22 when I pre-ordered Digital only and not the bundle. That's rather disappointing to put it mildly, but... problem solved, I guess.
I mean it IS a bit misleading....On the digital pre-order page it says "The Dragonlance Digital & Physical bundles will unlock your digital copy 2 weeks early".
That can be easly misconstrued that you just need the Digital version in order to get the early access, at least in my opinion.
I misread that to mean both versions came with early access as well.... Doesn't this company write books? Did they bother proofreading sales?
I actually am a player in such a case, and it has not worked for me. 1) I tried porting over a existing minotaur character from My Characters, adding it to our shared campaign the DM has (who has the bundle pre-order), and then change the race to Kender. No luck. Then 2) I tried to create a brand new character by clicking the button in the campaign page to create a new character - no kender option.

When ye ported the Minotaur - on the first page of the edit, you ticked the "Dragonlance Content" to on also? Just to be sure. (I am not sure if that's required to see the Kender option, or if that only impacts backgrounds).
Yeah. So I just went in and tried it again with another dummy character, to confirm 100% it Dragonlance checked as a content source. It did. And it also doesn't show any of the DL content even once editing with it inside the shared campaign.
Is there a slightly more up-res'ed version of the world map? the one that's in appendix E seems to be made for ants and the artist doesn't have a hi-res version of this on their website in fact most of the maps seem really low-res...
Unless I am missing a way for someone to join a campaign before a character's created?
Just to answer this question - when someone uses the Join Campaign URL they have three options (technically):
Select an existing character
Choose an unassigned character (if one is available)
Or Create a new character (as long as they have an available character slot)
A user can also add an existing character and then edit it, so even if they had previously selected Human, they could join that character and then with the shared content available edit that character.
I currently have access to the Dragonlance book in my account, and all the other pre-order perks, but none of the character creation options. My account says it does not require syncing, and I only have the invoice email, rather than the confirmation. I have not ever received a "Confirmation of Order" from anything DND related.
I purchased the digital only book, hoping it would grant early access and I am actually able to access the book contents, but if I click on any of them, it sends me to the Dragonlance pre-order page. So I'm just getting teased by all this content I can't access. Is this actually how it's supposed to be, or should I be able to access things? Does the digital only pre-order grant early access or not?

For me, as an owner of the content, I can enable it during character creation, but the content isn’t there.
I. don't have that in my confirmation email. Just a link to print an invoice. Clicked that and it's just an invoice.

Happening to me and my group as well. They can see my characters but are unable to select Shadow of the Dragon Queen perks or traits etc.

I am thinking this through... and I think I found the problem for my players...
So for example, when I had my player try the new character - the new character wasn't in the Campaign yet.
Because, well the character hasn't been made yet.
So - I think players need to make a character with the races available to them.
Then join the campaign - then edit their new character and the new races should be available to them.
That seems like a very backwards way to do things...

For the small maps - when you click to view the larger version - if you right click copy image address and paste it, you will see a larger version.
I think when it shows the larger version it's restricting the size of the preview.
