Concerning Partnered Content and the 2024 Core Rules

To help others that may be having the same issue, I had to force close the app in the Phone Settings, clear the cache for the app, and only THEN did it show an Update Available for the Explorer's Guide. Can confirm what spam said, once it was properly updated, the subclasses are now showing viewable in the Listings for the 5.5 classes.

The updated partner subclasses are not listed on the website under the 2024 classes while in the app they are listed und ther 2024 classes.

Recently, I started a new group with people new to D&D and some used the website, while others used the app and they were very confused why they saw a different set of subclasses.

p.s.
Also as a note, the subclasses on the website could use a marker from which book they come from. I think they are the only entries in the websites rules section that don't have such a marker.

 Weirdly, it appears the The Parasite Warlock from Heliana's Guide pt2 does appear under both 2014 Warlock and 2024 Warlock, at least it was this morning, so there is some inconsistency there.

Website: Rules -> Classes -> any 2024 class -> only subclasses from 2024 books
App: Listings -> Classes -> any 2024 class -> xxx subclasses -> all subclasses from 2024 books + the adjusted subclasses from 2014 books

So should I tell my players that use the website "you can use the subclasses under the 2024 class and the ones under the 2014 class, but not the ones that were not adjusted (which you can find in a changelog entry)"?
That's not very player friendly...

 Either have them use the app to look up the list, let them view the list in the character builder, or teach them the rules of the game and set them loose on the site's lookup. Because if they don't understand that subclasses which aren't updated are still considered usable by the rules, that's a player understanding problem anyway. 

I'm not saying it couldn't be done better, but rather that complaining about it in a partnered source thread is the wrong place.

 That's interesting, wonder if they're gonna start doing that in general when it comes to older content, especially now that some of it has gotten updated to be usable on 2024 classes even if the subclass hasn't changed at all

The recent update was the cause for a "Hey you did a change last month for all the partnered contened and you don't have feature parity between the two platforms for this change. It might improve player friendliness if you did."
Especially since some of the partnered subclasses didn't get an update since they get a remake in another book.
That's why I choose the thread about the partnered content.

 This inference is wrong though as yes mainline 2014 subclasses are not displayed with the 2024 class pages on the website unless they have had an update tp 2024. What pepple are discussing here is alot of 2014 partnered subclasses have recieved mechanical updates for 2024 see earlier in this thread but you will only see that on the character builder, and that is why folks are asking for them to be in the 2024 class pages.
