No - that option is not available as the JavaScript for this entry flags it an “item” and not a “weapon” or a “spell”. Therefore the option is simply not there. Doing a custom attack- does not accurately show it in the actions section, attacks section, and will not allow you to list its melee and ranged nature in any of the aforementioned entry types.
No - because the entry denotes the APA as a “wonderous item” and not a “spell” or “weapon”.
In General wonderous items do not have weapon properties- so they do not have an option attached to it to “mark as an attack”
This item - due to its unique nature creates a new category of items for Java- and it is likely that it will cause some reworking of the available options to allow it to show in the proper section of the character sheet. To further complicate the issue - it is both a melee and ranged weapon. This could be mitigated by having the JavaScript return a separate entry for each attack form- but again; the current JavaScript options do not support this.
Maybe I missed something - I certainly have not scoured through endless blogs (and yes - I saw the opening page to this) but I am hoping we get some sort of update on when Dragonmarked spells will "model correctly". I bought ERftLW thinking it was release ready but honestly think the developers should have held off until many of these were worked out.
Alchemist - Alchemical Savant: This is listed as an action, under the "other" section. Due to the scope of choice in using this feature, the bonus is not automatically added to your spells. You will need to remember to choose to add this to appropriate dice rolls.
Any plans to have this incorporated into the player sheet? I use DDB for my artificer during play, and am constantly forgetting this bonus because it doesn't appear in my attacks and spells. Is there some homebrew way to add an ability that just adds a bonus to Spell damage/healing?
Hey, it looks like the Alchemical Savant bonus was incorporated into spells on my character sheet! Sweet! Just so you know, the bonus does not seem to be applying to the Scorching Ray spell granted to me by the Circlet of Blasting (fire damage).
There isn't currently a way to designate a wand/rod/staff as your Arcane Firearm. As a result the +1d8 damage isn't automatically being added to any spells.
Any way to fix this, I didn't see any answers.
Also, both Wand Sheath and Enhanced Arcane Focus require attunement but, the description of the sheat says both should only count as one.

Oh, nevermind. I had set my spells up with Custom bonuses, and forgot I had done that. Would still love to see that Savant Bonus incorporated automatically, though! (Also, as an aside, for some reason I can't set Custom stats on the Scorching Ray spell from Circlet of Blasting).
I don't think the Savant bonus would apply to Scorching Ray cast from Circlet of Blasting, the feature says "Whenever you use your alchemist’s supplies as the spellcasting focus, you gain a bonus to one roll of the spell." Casting from the Circlet wouldn't require the use of spellcasting focus.
nope - it is tagged as a wondrous item in JS and therefore cannot be tagged as an attack. You can add notes, change the weight, etc - but nothing else.

There's no such proficiency as "Vehicles (sea/air)" defined in any rulebook - there's Vehicles (water) and Vehicles (land).
I expect this may be a typo, but the printed sourcebook states Vehicles (sea/air), so the same is true of the compendium on D&D Beyond. Mechanically though, it is Vehicles (water).
I found that the spells from the Spells of the Mark feature do not appear in the character's spell list.
See the first post:
Dragonmark variants/subraces - there are 13 of these presented in Chapter 1. All of them have a racial feature named, "Spells of the Mark" that adds spells to the character's spell list, if that class has spellcasting or pact magic. We haven't been able to model that correctly at this time, but will implement as soon as we are able to.
Why isn't there an Artificer Magic Initiate Feat?
No - that option is not available as the JavaScript for this entry flags it an “item” and not a “weapon” or a “spell”. Therefore the option is simply not there. ...Because no such feat exists? There's also no version of the feat for any of the other partial casters in the PHB/basic rules.
Wonder why they dont have repeating shot weapons listed on DnDBeyonds magic item area.

The three issues I continue to have are these:
A) arcane firearm damage bonus not automatically applying.
B) no apparent way to share infusions with party members.
C) my eldritch cannons all list a "30/special" counter that doesn't seem to correspond to any feature or ability that I am aware of.
None of these are game-breaking issues, as I've been able to come up with workarounds. I just wanted to note them "for the record."
Thanks.
As far as I can tell, that's how many hit points the cannon has. Should be more clearly labeled.
As far as I can tell, you may be right on that.

Minor quibble:
Background for House Agent Lyrandar shows following:
In character builder, when I choose House Agent (Lyrandar), the following is added instead:
Tool Proficiencies:Vehicles (Water), Navigator's Tools
Good point!
