Do you get all of the items and races when you purchase the 30$ book
If you buy the full sourcebook you get all the options (races, items, feats, spells, etc) that are listed as options (view the sourcebook's page on the Marketplace and scroll down to see what is unlocked) for the character builder and other tools.
If you buy the Compendium Only version you don't unlock options, you just get a digital version of the book which can be read on the site.

For my Artificer it doesn't show that Acid Splash is on my character sheet as an action. I tried completely re-doing all my spells and making it the only one, however it still doesn't show up. Figure this may be a bug.

Spells won't show as an action because most spells use an action and it would make it incredibly cluttered. Attack spells are listed under Attacks though for convenience. Save-type spells, like Acid Splash, won't since they're not attacks.
You can customise a spell (click it, in the sidebar click customise) and there should be an option "display as attack". If you check this, the spell will be listed under the Attacks section.

Ah I see now, I am fairly new to DNDB, sorry to clutter thread. Cheers!
No worries neighbor, everybody has to learn this stuff somewhere somehow from somebody. This was it for you, and the people who might read it in future.
I just created or modified three level 1 characters: a Mark of Hospitality Hafling bard, a Mark of Making Human Artificer, and a Mark of Making Human Wizard. First, the extra spells prepared from the Spells of the Mark racial feature are not showing up in the list of spells prepared on the character sheet nor in the character editor under the list of known/prepared spells. I expected to see them in these sections like I do from extra known spells from subclass features.
Second, while creating and editing the characters the cantrip provided from the Innkeeper's Magic and Spellsmith racial features do not show up in the known/prepared spells section and can still be selected in the Add Spells section if the class allows access to the cantrip. The cantrip does show up in the finished character sheet without having to select it in Add Spells section.

Please read the first post in this thread.
As for the Cantrip, if you finish making the character, the Cantrip will be in the spells section.
i am trying to make a mark of warding dwarf arcane trickster and the additional spells that get added to spell list does not seem to be adding any of the spells from the list.

Workaround is to make homebrew copies of the mark spells needed and add all casting classes to the list of “available to classes”. This is not in first post, unfortunately.
Any information concerning efforts rectifying dragonmark variant/subraces? Is there something more current than this?
This is the most current info. These also require the exact same system upgrades that they are doing for the Class Feature Variants. If you keep an eye on the Dev Updates for those you will probably have some rough idea as to how close they’re getting, even if that doesn’t translate into any kind of time frame.
thanks! greatly appreciate the response and info. just took a look at the Dev Updates from today (July 23, 2020) and got this from there (2nd group of bullets). Not sure what it means but hoping extended spell lists fixes missing racial spells in the list.. probably hoping too much...

(WIP) Class Feature Variants Extended Spell Lists Replacements/Enhancements
That’s specifically talking about how the Class Feature Variants UA expanded the Spell Lists for all of the classes.
But the important take away is that all of the coding and reprogramming they need to do to implement CFVs in the first place will be happening at the same time as the coding and reprogramming they need to do for Spells of the Mark since it’s all part and parcel with the same massive, ongoing, systemwide updates that they are doing behind the scenes.
It’s also part of the same series of upgrades that should hopefully fix lotsa other stuff too. I have no idea in what order they are doing everything, or what has to happen before what else. But in general this series of upgrades is very welcome. The more new stuff you see them announce the character sheet can do, the closer we get to it being able to do everything.
again, thanks again for all the info. really appreciated.
Slightly gruntled/annoyed that it's taking so long but it is what it is. Could be worse, could be using paper. I do like and enjoy dndbeyond, warts and all and will continue to use it until the implants become available/mandatory.
Strangely enough, it appears that Mark of the Shadow Elf does not get any of their expanded spell list. My friend and I have made one as a sorcerer and a bard and we are missing spells all the spells from our list.

As per the very first post in this thread:
Dragonmark variants/subraces - there are 13 of these presented in Chapter 1. All of them have a racial feature named, "Spells of the Mark" that adds spells to the character's spell list, if that class has spellcasting or pact magic. We haven't been able to model that correctly at this time, but will implement as soon as we are able to.
Being someone who bought the book since day one, and the previous Eberron book, I'm curious how long we'll need to wait before the Dragonmark varient / subraces get implemented, (as it's already been approximately 9 months since the book was released)... Asking more for my players, since I'm the DM with content shareing turned on.
PS: Yes I've keep an eye on both the first post (for months), and have been getting notification from this thread since day one...
