Being someone who bought the book since day one, and the previous Eberron book, I'm curious how long we'll need to wait before the Dragonmark varient / subraces get implemented, (as it's already been approximately 9 months since the book was released)... Asking more for my players, since I'm the DM with content shareing turned on.
PS: Yes I've keep an eye on both the first post (for months), and have been getting notification from this thread since day one...
They never give time estimates for new features. What I can tell you is that they have been steadily working on the things that have to be done to enable Spells of the Mark. When ERftLW came out, they were already at work on a complete rewrite of the backend code of the character sheet. They had to take it from being part of one monolithic service/structure to it’s own microservice, and that took almost a year. Completing that was a necessary step in order to be able to do the Spells of the Mark. (It was also necessary for other features, and because user numbers were quickly outstripping the capacity of the monolith). Now one the teams is working on the extended spell lists from the Class Variants UA. I know that doesn’t sound like that’s related to the Spells of the Mark, but Adam Bradford (VP of Fandom and the public face of DDB since the beginning) has said that the work they are doing for that will also help them implement Spells of the Mark.
In the meantime, there is a fairly simple workaround for your players. They (Or you, if you have purchased the content) can make homebrew copies of those spells. I always recommend adding “Mark of X” to the spell name so it’s clear that it is a Mark Spell. Then add all the caster classes to the “available to casters” box and save. While some home brewing is complicated and prone to errors, this “fix” is quick and simple. A spell can be altered this way in a minute or two, and if one focuses only on the spells characters in a campaign need, we are only talking about a handful of spells.
I have a player wanting to play a Divine Herald sub class from xanathars lost notes to everything else Props to ( @AelarTheElfRogue for build it for dnd beyond). Seeing it eberron game he going Mark of shadow elf.
For reason that he or I can not tell or work out. The extra spells for spell list are NOT showing up in the spells to pick from, am doing something wrong ?
is this problem with non-Spellcasting class getting access to spells in subclass

you don’t have to read all 46 pages, but please go read the first post, it will typically sum up all issues they are aware of.
In this case, you will need to home pbrew copies of the spells you want to add, and make them available to the class that you “marked” race has.
fact is, 3 years and 6 months later, the Dragonmarked spell problem is still unsolved.
For a 25UsD module i was actually hoping in a faster solution of this problem.
That’s amazing! In our timeline the Eberron book came out less than a year ago. Even the Wayfairer’s Guide only came out less than 2 years ago. Do you have any other news from 1&1/2 to 2&1/2 years in the future?!?
Kalashtar race : psychic glamour not appearing for me while making a character with the race on dnd beyond , also idk if this was the race or the feat actor but im missing a +1 to my charisma score. one of the two didn't apply to the overall score , just overided it for now.
It’s a multiphase fix. First they had to reprogram the character sheet from the ground up, that took 10 months, they started when Ravnica released. Then they had to disentangle all of the content, official and homebrew (lots and lots of homebrew), from the creation software and put it on different servers. Everything was on a Monolith before. That’s part of why it sucked.
Now they can reprogram the creation software from the ground up. The homebrewer we use is the same system they use, only we don’t get admin privileges. If you have spent any time in the homebrewer, you can understand why the software available cannot do the thing. Once they get the creation software overhaul completed, then they still have to use that new software to properly implement the changes to make them work.
Mind me, i have 3 campaigns running on DNDbeyond, so i actually LOVE IT.
As you said, the homebrew at the moment can't do it (i had issues already with my homebrew races not seen in the character builder)
I am hoping they will sort it out in a few months because at the moment if i have to choose how to gm a campaign with a lot of house rules, i will go Roll20 all my life
If the campaign is sorta "standard", dndbeyond for me is perfect
Sure. And I get how frustrating it can be. Imagine how frustrated the Devs are. There are 46 pages in this thread alone, and half of the posts are about Spells of the Mark. The regular Bugs & Support, General Discussion, and DDB Feedback forums also have probably just as many posts about the exact same thing. 🙄 I’m sure they want this buttoned up at least as much as we do. We just have to be a little more patient is all.
Please believe me when I tell you that the D&D Beyond team are our own biggest critics.
We're well aware of numerous features that we just haven't been able to make happen yet.
We all play and run D&D, using D&D Beyond ourselves, so understand the frustration when there are aspects of the game that we just haven't been able to automate or support yet.
We've had, and continue to have, discussions about prioritisation of features to enable content.
With the work complete on the data framework, we're now seeing a lot more active development on features that provide extra functionality. 😊
So, in my estimation, there were 4 phases to this project:
Reprogram the character sheet.
Disentangle all of the content from the creation software.
Reprogram the creation software.
Use that new software to implement the changes to make stuff work better
It sounds like the team is moving (has moved?) into phase 4. If true that’s fantastic news!! And also a very fast schedule, faster than I anticipated anyway. You folks rock!
Hi there, I'm having an issue using my character creator to make an Artificer, does anyone know whats going on?
That may depend on what issue you are having. If you could clarify this in more detail, we can see if we can provide advice.

I purchased the subclasses and the races from Eberron: Rising From The Last War. I have used them previously to make characters, but they are now missing from my character creator. I have Eberron content turned on.
*Edit: Nevermind... I apparently did the same as Mikkeru above, and it just needed syncing

Probably dumb suggestion
but what if in the title post, it's written [READ FIRST POST]

Very funny how i misjudged the exit date.
Sorry about that.
The answer was really useful, thanks
anyway, i stand corrected. It's just 9 months and a half since it exited and yet, nothing happened.

Well, I purchased the scource book Eberon the last war, but the artificer class is not showing up as available.
I've activated Eberon content and playtest content (basically anything I can activate)
But it's not showing up.
I checked in my purchases and it is there, I can go read the book and get all the info, but no access to it in the character creator
Did you by chance buy just the compendium version?
