Not sure if this has been addressed already but I tried having one of my players add the Ring of Temporal Salvation to their equipment, but it does not appear. Shared content is activated for this book and I can search for the ring and add it for characters I made, but my players can not. Any resolution for this?
Hello Dakkum!
Is the player trying to add the ring to a character inside of the campaign? And as TigerApricot keenly noted, do they have "Critical Role" content turned on (slider to the right) for the character?
The Echo Knight martial class is not showing as an option in character builder even after purchase.
Is your character a Level 3 Fighter and do you have Critical Role content turned on (click character profile pic, choose preferences OR edit character and the toggle is on the Home tab).

It states in the new Tortle description that they’re a “long-lived” race (as they should be), but their lifespan is still listed as a paltry 50 years, same as it was in the Tortle Package. A copy/paste error?
Although tortles are long lived in Matt's setting, because they're mechanically identical to the race from the tortle package, that means all information presented in their original source is reproduced the same in Explorer's Guide to Wildemount. This includes descriptive information such as age and appearance.

Well that’s a ham-fisted approach. Presenting contradictory info on the same page with no explanation is OK now in D&D? Not everyone knows the full story or bought the Tortle Package.
The Death Cleric's "Reaper" Feature allows me to chose a Necromancy cantrip "from any spell list" but does not yet let me chose "Sapping Sting" as an option [I presently have all content unlocked].
Edit: I realise moments later that this is because the new spells are not technically a "Spell list" but a list of new subclass specific spells. This will likely never be implemented like this, will it?
Edit2: I double-checked all my sources, having some time off in isolation and countermand my previous edit.

RAW, it should be selectable for you. Unless they fix this, your best bet would be to homebrew a feat that adds the spell to your list and add it to your character that way.

By RAW, the new dunamancy spells are only available for the Graviturgy and Chronurgy subclasses. Them being available to other classes/subclasses is something that must be homebrewed at DM discretion, as with all homebrew.
Dunamancy spells are readily available to the wizard subclasses in this chapter and should not be simply added to the full spell lists of other spellcasting classes. However, the Dungeon Master can consider allowing other spellcasting classes opportunities throughout the campaign to learn a handful of dunamancy-themed spells as rewards
Thank you for this amazing book and the implementation. When creating a template charakter though, I ran into some trouble. The Draconblood subrace is supposed to get a +2 Int +1 Chr bonus but in the charakterbuilder the statbonus is +2 Strength +1 Charisma like the base race.

Not sure if this problem runs any deeber.
Thank you for your time!
I've run into the same thing, and I assume its because its a subrace of a race that. . . doesn't usually have subraces.
If you go ahead and create the draconblood and check the ability screen, it will only display the correct bonus (Cha and Int).

Another medical problem. Indefinite hiatus. Sorry, all.

An ability that allows you to pick spells from any list should include Graviturgy and Chronurgy lists as well by RAW.
I believe this is outside the other arguement that these spells should or should not be on the standard Wizard list.

The Graviturgy and Chronurgy spells aren't on any class lists, therefore features that let a character select spells from another class list do not provide access to them.
This can, as always, be overruled by the DM for your game and implemented using our homebrew system. 😊

I didn't say class list, I said any list. Reaper specifically states any spell list, there is no mention of class list there or in my reply. This is different requirement than the bardic magic secret ability for example, that states class list.

Thank you very much this was the issue and it is all fixed now!
Thanks!
BTW, for anyone wondering about the map scale... Hannah Rose, one of the editors, confirmed on Twitter that the intended measurement for the scale is feet: https://twitter.com/wildrosemage/status/1242527719474118657

Under Adventures in Wildemount:
"Text that appears in a shaded box like this one is meant to be read aloud or paraphrased for the players."
On the mobile app, there is no shaded box. Shows up fine on desktop.

With all variant races in the character builder, it displays the base races details in the description, but you do get the variant bonuses.
While it does say "+2 Strength, +1 Charisma" in the description (which is displaying the base race traits)
The character builder does indeed give you +2 Intelligence, +1 Charisma as you'd expect
This is how all variant races are currently handled.
