took a look, and it seems like Beyond20 is already aware of the the issue and has already corrected it in their code. They just haven't released the newest patch with the fix yet. So, I just have to wait on that, in case this issue creeps up again for anyone else. Thanks again!
Artificer's prepared spells when viewing the character sheet in DDB states that they prepare spells equal to 1/2 artificer level (rounded down) + INT. The spell prep function also only lets you prepare that same amount of spells. Per Tasha's (including the class text here on DDB), artificers are supposed to round up.

You prepare the list of artificer spells that are available for you to cast, choosing from the artificer spell list. When you do so, choose a number of artificer spells equal to your Intelligence modifier + half your artificer level, rounded down (minimum of one spell). The spells must be of a level for which you have spell slots.
This is the same text as for the digital copy of the book. I also checked my physical copy, which I believe should be before any errata and it says rounded down as well.
Where are you seeing text to round up? Could it be for something else?
Former D&D Beyond Customer of six years: With the axing of piecemeal purchasing, lack of meaningful development, and toxic moderation the site isn't worth paying for anymore. I remain a free user only until my groups are done migrating from DDB, and if necessary D&D, after which I'm done. There are better systems owned by better companies out there.

Ah, I missed that, thanks! So is this just a mix-up then? SirCriticalPanda was referencing prepared spells, but the multi-classing rules are for calculating spell slots?
I tried an Artificer multi-class and it seemed like it was getting the slot levels I expected, at Artificer 7/Ranger 6 I got my first 4th-level slot, but when I flipped it around (Artificer 6/Ranger 7) I was limited to 3rd-level which should be correct. And prepared spells for Artificer was correct (with INT +3 I could prepare six Artificer spells in both cases).

For the abberant mind and clockwork soul sorcerer why do you not just add the spells like a list you pick from where the neutral option is the original spell you get. Kinda like how the artificer infusions is picked or eldritch invocations?
I created an Order of the Crown paladin, gave them the 'Blessed Warrior' fighting style, and chose two cantrips that each require a saving throw. When this character equips and attunes to an Amulet of the Devout (+1,2,3 to all spell attack rolls and saving throw DC's), the bonus to saving throw DC is only applied to 1st level spells and above; not the two cantrips.
i just bought the book hope-ing I could use the sidekicks, i rly hope this is not the case can I refund the book? I cant add any of the the 3 types of sidekicks

A sidekick creator has not been developed. While there is a “no refunds” policy, some folks have had success asking for refunds. You could try contact support. It’s a holiday weekend in the US, so a response may take a while. the work around is to make a homebrew copy of the closest creature and edit to reflect sidekick abilities.
Don't normally use these forums, but the bonus damage from the Thrown-Weapon Fighting style still isn't properly applying to the character sheet automatically for Ranger. (Unsure if it works for other methods; I have not tested them.)

No it doesn't work. And at this point in time I don't think they will ever fix it. Its on the front page of things still not done...after 3 years.

I've tried nearly a dozen times but I cannot buy this compendium no matter how many times I try. I tried direct pay and PayPal.
For the love of god, WOTC, take my money so my players can have artificers in my campaign.
After you fill in your credit card info, don’t hit either of the blue buttons, hit the green button instead.

I appreciate the quick response. That was my first few attempts, going straight to "place my order"
It says ERROR:Declined - Call Issuer - PROCESSOR_DECLINED.
Ahh, then you’ll have to contact support. Look for the link at the bottom of the page says “Contact Us.”

It's determining your spell slots when multiclassing, that's when you round up half your artificer levels: https://www.dndbeyond.com/classes/artificer#MulticlassingandtheArtificer

Maybe I misread. I should have taken a screenshot.
How much longer? Been 3 years lol
ALmost another year where Genie Warlocks cant choose Wish at level 17.
So I am guessing you have given up on fixing anything. Make money for share holders and only work on the the new "D&D" money grab

Are we ever getting the character sheets for sidekicks that were promised when Tasha's was originally released?
