Does the kobold and orc errata apply automatically to all existing characters?
If so, what happens if a madlad was already playing a kobold with 20 STR or orc with 20 INT? Do they get special permission to change an ASI or adjust point buy?
If errata doesn't automatically apply, does that mean it is possible to play a character that still uses original wording of healing spirit?

No, existing will be unchanged, new PCs will get the update after a specific date. (I forget the date they said.)
DDB is still trying to figure out the answer to that, that’s why existing characters aren’t changing.
This one is automatic applied since it doesn’t affect builds or level progressions. If you want the old version you gotta homebrew it.

In the past, AL's policy has been that you apply the errata to characters, and if that makes your character illegal, you should (in the presence of a DM) make the minimal changes possible to bring it legal. So yes, in the case that the errata pushed your INT or STR to an illegal value, you should select a different ASI or feat. At least that's how I expect it to work.

I'm talking about adventures league specifically not DDB. I already know how DDB answers these questions.

Cool thanks.
Yes bump your kobolds by 2 str and up your orc by 1 int. This because the errata affect the legal books.
