Ey guys,
I have a player who wants to play a mystic in our next game, are they balanced in your opinion?
I started reading about it, but we start the game soon and i won't have time to get a global idea, so I figured I'd ask here.

No, and the mystic is not considered active Unearthed Arcana.

Well they're still considered playtest. It's up to the DM honestly if you can use playtest, but in opinion I say they aren't unbalanced when you look at how people can overpower other builds.

It's still in playtest, so the best way to find out is to use it. ;)

I'm hoping they get it nicely spruced up and in print soon, though.  I likes it.

Is it still in playtest? I though anything older than a year was considered not active anymore if it wasn't published in something.
