This weekend at UCon in Ann Arbor Michigan I'm running Ravenloft I9 as a single 4 hour event. I've written up some nice (I think) 5th level pregen characters and I'm ready to go with the big story beats I want to hit in the session.
Here's my question on the Pre-Gens: Should i have printed out all of the spells effects? Or is the "print out" from the character builder enough for most players? I don't want to spend TOO long at the table looking up spell effects but I also don't want to expect players to just KNOW all of their spells. The official printed character has the spell targets and saves but not things like "Damage"....
If they are experienced players, just the builder brief descriptions should be okay as long as there is a PHB or three available for reference. Otherwise, a full printout would probably be best.

Thoughts on how to prepare?
