Is there any way to set the +1 book for a character, such that Beyond will only show valid options for that character going forward as the player selects new spells, feats, etc., at each level?
I tried searching the forums, but "PHB+1" is a term the search dialog box won't accept.
I use DDB for my AL character sheets. It is actually sadder than it is difficult to not take spells from a different source (I want booming blade so bad).
For Background, Magic Items, Feats, and Spells, you can filter by source books, specifying one or more to include, when searching. Classes, Races, and Vehicles, are organised by source on the main page for each category.
You can do that when looking up listings, but when it comes to actually building characters, only race can be filtered for some reason. This is ultimately the problem using it in AL since subclass, feats, and spells are also restricted by source and it is really hard to identify what source they are from at a glance.

Spells are trivial, since the description included in the builder lists the source. Yes, it's a minor inconvenience to wade through all the spells you can't have, but since the majority of spells are in the PHB/Basic Rules anyway, you'll usually be fine.
It is only a mild inconvenience. I basically said that in my first comment in this thread (11 months ago before this thread was necro'd).
And true most spells are in the PHB (376 out of 520 or 72% to be precise). It would still be nice to not have to check every spell for the 1 in 4 that can't be used (especially when there are so many good spells not in PHB...).
Feats haven't really been an issue since xanathar's was all racial feats (Tasha's feats are a lot more versatile, but kind of stand out because they are either interesting or take from a class while the PHB is all generic (except martial adept, which basically inspired half the TCoE feats)).
Subclasses are probably the hardest thing to check, but only needs checked once or twice per character.

Adventurers League character validation (including PHB+1) is on the short-term roadmap.

Just bumping this as something I too am *really* keen to see implemented!

It would still be really useful to be able to set limits for other homebrew campaigns.
This will remove one of the biggest pressures for this feature though.
