Online I run two to two and half hours sessions. At the three hour mark I notice online engagement starts to flag fast. In person my preference would be 4-5 hours, longer only if we intended to make a day or night for it with meal and breaks planned.

I run two games, both which are run on a weekly basis. The online one is a strict three hours (2.5 after you cut out the catching up we have).
The in-person one is about an hour and a half, tops. We play on a week night, so unfortunately one of us can only arrive at 7:30pm, and two of the others can only stay till 9:30. I’ve had to change the way I run that game to trim as much of the fat as possible, or it would take two sessions just to tackle a random encounter :/
Usually 3-4 hours. I start looking for a good place to stop around 3 hours, so if the stars align, three hours is how long we play. But sometimes we're in the middle things we need to finish up, or maybe I know a good cliffhanger is coming up and I want to get to it, etc. etc.
I have a 4 hour window which tends to end up being 2-3 hours play - they are Online Sessions once a week if possible

I run a live-table with a bunch of good friends, and we have typically 8h sessions on weekends with around 3h of non-session time sprinkled in between. Like having dinner, mixing some drinks and just chatting.
The group I'm in usually does a three hour session once a week. But since we've been playing online I've noticed that the first 15 minutes or so is usually just chit chat and whatnot until we finally settle down to actually play. I think this is likely a result of people having a bit of cabin fever from The Plague Year and not being able to be in touch as closely as we would like. I would prefer a slightly longer session myself, but we're all adults with jobs and other reasons to need to wake up the next morning.
In person approx 6 hours of game time, with maybe an hour or so for food break (usually a takeaway) but we play every 2-3 weeks.
Online we get online about 7:00 aiming for a 7:30 start time, and I am pretty good at bringing us to an end for 10:10:30ish but we play weekly. I def find that remote sessions need to be shorter and run at a much slower pace, I am currently running effectively the same campaign for 2 groups (although sandbox so things are starting to diverge) and the in person group is far further ahead despite us actually having roughly the same amount of game time, same party size experience etc.
I run a game that is 2 hours long due to everyone's schedules but I prefer 4 hours. With 4 I feel like it is easier to have a good mix of social interactions, planning, combat etc.
Ours is 8-12 on Saturday nights. We will sometimes go long, if a battle runs over... or if I see that it is post-11:30 and we are coming up on a battle, I will call a halt. But we tend to keep it to right around 4 hours, give or take 15 minutes.

I usually play for however much time everyone's got. The session usually ends only when someone has to go or when it's such a dramatic pause that you can't not stop the session there.

Seems the norm is no more than three hours. Same for me. I'm wondering how anybody keeps players interested for 4+ hour sessions!
