Hi I was wondering can anyone here can help me out with a Chinese Fantasy D&D 5th world setting, think of the Video Game Jade Empire.
1: 5th edition Races and Kits: First off I need to figure out Chinese versions of the races for D&D, and the Kits as well, wasn't there a Chinese Wizard class?.
2: Hell: The Hell mention and is shown in the D&D 5th RPG books is Western not Eastern, Asia's Hell is known as the 1000 Hells each ruled over by a Yama King or Queen.
Interesting question. Chinese fantasy tends to have a lot fewer fey creatures and humanoids. So unless you re-skin them, no elves, eladrin, dwarves, halflings. Likely also no dragonborn, orcs, hobgobbies.
Your best bet would be to doing some reading on Chinese mythology and watching Chinese horror/magical kung fu movies. Here is also a link of published source materials from the Kara-Tur setting from 2nd edition AD&D, which was called "Oriental Adventures". (Best not to use that term.) Keep in mind that most of that was written by a bunch of non-Chinese people, likely with little concern for exotification of the culture.
Yeah, if it were me trying to do this I would bury myself in research on such sites as Wikipedia for a few weeks, do a pretty deep dive into the lore. That’s pro’ly your best bet.
I strongly recommend Adventures in Rokugan - it's a playable and complete book for the Legends of the Five Rings setting. It's a 5th edition conversion complete with new character classes and a built in setting. This single book gives you enough to start strong with the idea. It hits pretty much everything you listed.
I agree with those above- Wikipedia is your best friend here, and the more you understand about your inspirations, the more convincing and exiting your world will feel. In particular I recommend looking up the Yuan dynasty- China was conquered by the mongols, and although they’ve been more-or-less absorbed into Chinese culture, they still bring many superstitions and shamanistic beliefs that are added to Chinese lexicon, creating a fascinating cultural climate.

Be Excellent to one another. Rock on dude.
