Hey everyone! I find the Cult of the Dragon a super fascinating NPC group for my PCs to fight with but was really disappointed on how little they were developed. So, I got to work on making several Cult of the Dragon NPCs and Magic items, along with unique artwork should you ever want to bring the Cult of the Dragon into your campaign. After all, how cool is a group obsessed with turning Dragons into Dracolichs and helping them become the next gods of the multiverse!? So much potential here from level 1 all the way to level 20!
I created the following:
Cult of the Dragon - "Claws" - The "Claws" or "Claw Boys" are super fanatics that perform rituals on themselves to become more dragon like. (They are fighter/tanks)
Cut of the Dragon - Fanatic - these are your typical kinda squishy creepy cult guys that are in mass numbers.
Cult of the Dragon - Mage - Its a typical mage but with a lot of Cult of the Dragon themed spells and gear.
Cult of the Dragon - Priest - Typical cleric but with a lot of Cult of the Dragon themed spells and gear.
Cult of the Dragon - Wyrmspeaker - This is your CR20 leader of the Cult! She casts level 9 spells, but this is at the top of cults pyramid scheme.
Cult of the Dragon - Dragon Mask - This is the mask that most members of the cult wear. Its a 2-way magic items that makes the member and the dragon stronger.
Cult of the Dragon - Wyrmspeaker Staff- This is the Staff that the Wyrmspeaker carries with her.
And just in case you need an Ancient Dracolich (CR 24) for a group that can handle such a thing. Here is my version of the infamous - Alasklerbanbastos (Ancient Dracolich)
I put a lot of work into all of this, and make sure you check out the details page that includes all the lore and the custom artwork for each NPC or magic item.
I cant figure out how to post an image inline, but here is a picture I created with several members of the Cult of the Dragon standing in the woods together.
Breathe, dragons; sing of the First World, forged out of chaos and painted with beauty. Sing of Bahamut, the Platinum, molding the shape of the mountains and rivers; Sing too of Chromatic Tiamat, painting all over the infinite canvas. Partnered, they woke in the darkness; partnered, they labored in acts of creation.

Greetings TheriusDrake,
Yes, the Cult of the Dragon are a great cult to work with as a DM, and I have used them a few times in One-Shots and Side-Quests.
