Grotmaw’s Delight
Wondrous Item, rare (requires attunement)
(Dey use lotsa big words to ‘splain dis one too. Grotmaw ‘splain it to you easy no pro’lem tho.)
This enchanted bolt case has been transmuted so it produces an endless supply of nonmagical ammunition, which seems to leap into your hand when you reach for it. (Dis say dat dis magic bolt holder never runs outta amunishun. Is very good.)
On each of your turns, you can use a bonus action to make two attacks with any crossbow you are equipped with. Each time you make such a ranged attack, Grotmaw's Delight magically replaces the crossbow bolt. Any pieces of ammunition created by this magic item disintegrate after attack and damage have been resolved. (Dat ses dat magic bolt holder give you bolts so fast youse can shoot lots more of dem. Is very, very good. And den dey disappears so nobody knows it was you. Sneaky sneaky.)
This bolt case also comes with 1 charge. The charge refreshes each day at dawn. As an action you can spend the charge to cast Flame Arrows on Grotmaw’s Delight as a 5th level spell. The spell does not require concentration to maintain. (Dis say dat dis bolt holder come wiv one speshul magic every day and if youse use it den da whole next buncha bolts youse shoot will be on fire!)
You gain a +1 bonus to AC and saving throws while you wear this cloak.
This cloak is made of numerous faded rags sewn together partially obscuring your shape. When attacked, the rags blunt blows and deflect cuts. Half of the damage from slashing piercing, and bludgeoning attacks is taken by the cloak, the other half going to you. After the cloak suffers 50 hp, it is too damaged and ceases to function.
It takes 1 day of work with a sewing kit and 50 gp of cloth to restore the cloak's protective properties.
