I made my first subclass that I went piggybacked off of some others that were similar to what I was wanting. However, I am getting a prompt about it not being able to be published in the homebrew section. Can someone help me with this? Thanks.
Only Moderators and Staff can view an unpublished Homebrew. If you want more prompt assistance you will need to let us know what reason or reasons it is listing as to why you are not allowed to publish your homebrew.
if you have only just finished writing it and are having these issues I recommend not publishing yet. Once something has been published you can no longer edit your homebrew without creating a new copy to overwrite the original. It is always best practice to completely finish all playtesting and editing prior to publishing your homebrew.

This Subclass cannot be shared with the community for the following reasons:
This homebrew Subclass has data mapped to it that is licensed content or private homebrew. This typically occurs when licensed or private homebrew spells are linked to the Subclass.
Remember, private homebrew is automatically shared with other users in your campaigns and does not need to be shared with the community for players to access.

You attached spells you your homebrew. One (or more) of those spells is either:
A homebrewed spell that is not published.
An official spell that is not free content.
Most likely it is the second reason. The only official spells you can attach and still publish your homebrew must be free content spells from the Basic Rules & SRD, and the EEPC. The full list of approved spells can be found here:
Any official spell not on that list would have to be removed from your homebrew prior to publishing.
Remember, you don’t need to publish it at all. Whenever you join a DDB campaign, your entire Homebrew collection will automatically be available to everyone in that campaign and all of theirs will be available to you. You and your friends can use and enjoy that subclass, even without sharing it with the entire community.
Zb02307 next time someone talks to you like that on here don't be afraid to report them. Sorry that was your first experience on these forums. Sposta is the bomb though. Knows this stuff inside and out.
