In my campaign I have two characters which are cousins. One is an Arcane Trickster, and the other is a Sorcerer. It makes sense to me that the Arcane Trickster should be able to use Charisma instead of Intelligence for spell casting, and this character has a higher Charisma anyway. I'm on board.
I tried to create a homebrew copy of Arcane Trickster, but the spell list doesn't come through. I look through other user's creations, and they seem to be using sorcery points. I'm not trying to add any sorcery points, I'm simply trying to change the spellcasting stat.
Any suggestions? Is there a way to just change the spellcasting stat without homebrewing an entire sub-class?
Here's what you need to have in Basic Information:
Spell Casting Ability: CHA
Can Cast Spells: Yes
Additional Spell List: Wizard (or do Sorcerer if you want to base off a charisma full-caster class, since it seems on-point)
Spell Prepare Type: -- (leave blank)
Knows All Spells: -- (leave blank)
Be sure to Save Changes. It can then take up to 20 minutes for the homebrew changes to percolate through the system, possibly more (been some extra lags lately.) You may need to adjust the character's level up then down to make sure it "refreshes" with the new information.

Bards are also Cha Full Casters. (A 2-level dip into Sorcerer and the Metamagic Adept feat would also seriously add some additional Arcane to that Trickster too.)

Thank you.
I'll give this a shot, and let you know if it works.
