Hi,
I tried creating a Subclass for Rogue that uses Spell Preparation so the Wizard Initiate Feat doesn't occupy 3 cantrip slots on it.
However the Subclass is still on Learn mode despite setting it to "Knows all Spells"
The only two official subclasses that grant Spellcasting are Eldritch Knight and Arcane Trickster. Neither of those are “prepared spellcasters,” so the system is not designed to make “1/3 casters” (like those two subclasses) that prepare spells.
TLDR: It’s impossible.
Then why is the switch there?
Because it’s the same system the Devs use, but they have admin privileges and we only have user privileges.
