I made a homebrew race and attached a subrace to it. However, I realized immediately after posting that I forgot to put a PNG on the subrace. I made a new version of it and attached the desired PNG. However, I can't seem to detach the old subrace. I haven't tried to publish the new version of the subrace, because it automatically attaches itself to the parent race, and even though I highly doubt anyone will view my race, I don't want them to be confused if they do. So my question is: How do I detach a published subrace from a published race?
The race is called "Merperson" and the subrace is "Siren"
So the homebrew race and the original subrace were published?
Please give the link to the homebrew race.
Also, any images are stripped out of homebrew when published (to avoid potential copyright issues), meaning your PNG would not have stayed on the published version anyway, so there's no reason to try to remove the published subrace.

If you published then it is locked in stone for all eternity. You will pro’ly have to [CREATE NEW VERSION] of the race, and then recreate the subrace from scratch. It’s generally best practice to not publish until after though playtesting and editing, especially for races with subraces/variants, spells, and any homebrew that has other homebrew attached to it.
