So i am trying to make this for a homebrew warlock subclass,
"Starting at 1st level, when a blooded creature (constructs, elementals, plants and undead do not qualify) within 10 of you takes damage, you can use your reaction to draw the blood into your melee weapon, giving it a d4 of necrotic damage on top of its usual damage. You can use this ability multiple times to increase the damage die to d6, d10 and finally d12. If you finish a round of combat without either using this ability or dealing damage with the affected weapon, the die reduces by 1 level (or disappears if the level is d4)."
Class feature bloody blade, then add the reaction. That's fine. How do i add the +d4/6/8/10 modifier to weapon damage to apply and stac when the reaction is used, or is this something i have to do by text and then make separate attack action on the character sheet?

Cheers
You would have to do it as text and roll separately.
