I'm almost certain this has been asked and answered somewhere, but I'm not seeing a search bar in the forum.
How can I add spell casting modifier to spell damage? I'm specifically trying to do this in a subclass. I've been able to get to add modifier to the "to hit" bonus of a spell (essentially doubling it), but never the damage. I see subtype choices for cleric cantrip damage and eldrich blast damage, but nothing for spell damage. Is it even an option?

Thanks,
If you don’t see👈that, turn your phone sideways.
It is not possible. You would have to list it as plain text and the player would have to customize their spells individually.
If it's in a subclass, you can make the spell an "Action" and use the same description. Change the Attack setting to Yes, and it will display as an attack that adds the chosen ability modifier to the damage.
I should clarify. When creating a subclass feature or a subclass feature option, one of the dropdown list below the description is Action. When you create an action, it will give you the option of creating a General, Weapon, or Spell action. Select Spell. Then, you can fill in the details for the specific spell you wish to use. These details are not as thorough as the Spells dropdown list, but it will allow you to include the desired calculation.
