Hey guys,

So I've been trying to make Homebrew Spells for my private campaigns, and the spells all have a spell Save DC rather than attack roll. I click the spell Save DC tab and everything, but after completion it just shows attack rolls. What do I do?

Also, the spells are supposed to scale and they are not scaling at higher levels. So confused. 

You must have an “Attack Type” selected, which will override the save type and always list it as an attack. Clear that field and it should display as a saving throw. As for the level scaling, how did you set that up?

I have additional points selected for higher levels. I saw it on a different thread and thought it would apply. As for attack type, I am unsure where to find that.

Do you have the scaling type set to “spell scale,” “spell level,” or “character level?”

Is the spell a cantrip or a leveled spell? What are you scaling, damage?

I need more details to help you.

So it's both cantrips and spells. None of them are leveling up at higher levels (cantrips, 1st level, 3rd level). All of them have been at spell level.

And I'm scaling dice damage. I was able to figure out the spells thanks to your picture. But I have been unable to do the same for the cantrips. Currently set at character level now with additional points

Cantrips only level at “character level” (5th, 11th, & 17th).
