Hi, I'm currently working on making a weapon for one of my players. I'm making them a scythe that they can use. My first question is there a way I can use a Sickle and replace the d4 damage it does with d8? My second question is if there is any way to let them use their charisma instead of dex for the to hit and damage modifier. Also, is there anywhere thwt says what all the different modifiers do. Any help is appreciated, thank you!

1.  Unfortunately no, you will have to start with a d8 weapon like a greatclub.
2. No, they will have to manually adjust the weapon on their character sheet to reflect the appropriate bonuses and remember to adjust those numbers as their Charisma improves.
3. Unfortunately not one that we have access to, no. However, if you tell me what you want it to do, I can tell you what modifiers to use (if any), or if you ask me what I modifier does I’ll tell you if I know it.
