Yes… and no. You can create Optional Subclass Features, simply select either “Additional,” or “Replacement” instead of “Granted” under the Feature Type Dropdown when creating the feature. Please note, once selected and saved you cannot change that selection.
If I wanted to add optional base class features (like those introduced in Tasha's), would I have to make those optional features for every D&D subclass I homebrew? Or is there another way currently supported that allows content creators the ability to do that?
On a similar note, does it look like D&D Beyond will EVER introduce a homebrew CLASS creator?
