So myself and my DM came up with a really fun idea however we are unsure how to implement it the best (Obviously using homebrew somehow)
The idea is the PC will as time progresses be able to have access to multiple warlock patrons (Its a homebrew campaign and fits thematically so please no "RAW says no")
The limitations is the PC will only have access to two at a time (Which can be swapped during a SR and/or LR), so is there a way this can be done? Either through feats or items that can be swapped out to amend spell lists for each patron etc. Or if something like this already exists any links would be incredibly helpful - Ive tried looking myself but Ive not found anything so far.
You could theoretically replicate many of the class features as feats, but not the subclass specific spells, not the way they work for warlocks. Realistically there’s no way to do what you want without making multiple warlock subclasses to represent different combinations and then swapping out the subclasses whenever they finish a rest.
Thank you very much for the info! From the research I did having multiple versions seemed like the only plausible option but I wasnt sure if there was a simpler way around it using homebrew.
Thanks again and have a pleasant day :)
