I am on DND Beyond trying to Homebrew a magic amulet that will let the player choose a bonus Metamagic option once attuned to the item. I swear I have gone through every option I can think of and I can't find anything.
Is there a way to Homebrew a magic item that will let a player choose a Metamagic option? Or is that not possible?
It is not possible. What you can do however is create a feat to do it using the Metamagic Adept feat as a template to actually do that mechanically and the player can simply add it to their character sheet while the magic item is attuned.
Ah, alright. Yeah, that will have to do then. I just tested it out myself and it should work. Too bad it has to be split in two steps, but at least it works. Thanks for the help!
