I'm creating a homebrew race and I want to add the feat "Dwarven Fortitude", which has the prerequisite of being a dwarf. I imagine this is the reason the feat doesn't show up in my race. Moreover, when I tried to create a homebrew copy of the feat, it also doesn't show up. Is there a way around this?
That should do it then, it always has in the past. Are you sure you are using the correct version of your race on the character sheet? Do you have access to that feat in the first place?
The reason it isn’t showing up in the list is because none of the racial feats show up in that list. you’ll have to recreate it for your race, or better yet add something original to it instead.
This feature of D&D Beyond is bugged and unfortunately has been for years.
The drop-down list for the Prerequisites menu will not display any homebrew races that are in your collection. It is also the only drop-down menu that displays the full list of official D&D Beyond races without having unlocked them all. The incompatibility with race-specific feats is a huge issue for the QOL of homebrew races on D&D Beyond.
I found the alternative solution is to simply uncheck the "Feats require prerequisites" on the character sheet options for any characters using homebrew races. If you do this, you need to police your players' character sheets, which defeats the point of D&D Beyond.
When I create a feature for a homebrew subclass, the ‘add an expanded Spell List’ button doesn’t show up when I click on expanded Spell List. (This is for the expanded Spell list in one of the features, not free added spells)

If you are on mobile, try swapping between portrait and sideways mode. If you are on PC, try stretching the window to have a larger width.
The service is pretty much depreciated on many older devices. I hope these issues will be addressed for One D&D.

Sure, make your race a Variant Race of Dwarf.

Unfortunately, that didn't do it...
You have to choose “Variant Dwarf” from the start, you can’t just make it part of the dwarf race group.

That's what I did 😔

I am using the one I'm creating. I tried one time as a subrace and once as a variant, and none worked. And I have access to the feat, yes
Wait, are you trying to add the feat as part of a racial trait? Or are you just trying to add the feat to your character?

Or make it a copy of dwarf and change all the traits
I'm trying to add the feat as a racial trait granted at level 1
You could just copy the text from the feat, and add the modifiers and stuff.
That will probably be what I'll end up doing. Such a simple solution 😅 thanks everyone

Also, the expanded Spell lists don’t work for any homebrew.
It should. How did you do it and what are you trying to do?

I’ve tried it on a iPhone, iPad, and MacBook and it still doesn’t work.
