Hey everyone, I am fairly new to D&D. I have played it a few times before, but it has been a long time since I played. I am currently trying to make my own character, but I don't know where to start. The character that I want to make is a witch, I am drawing inspiration from the TV show that was on FreeForm Motherland Fort Salem; this show had witches who were able to use their voices from their vocal cords as their spells. They also have a weapon that is called a score. It is like a whip type. I am also adding a trailer from the show so there is a more clear understanding of the character's inspiration and some of what they can do.
It sounds to me like you might want to make a bard and reflavor it as a witch. But really, all spellcasters in D&D use their voices to some degree or other when casting spells. Any spell with a V component requires some “Verbal” component to cast, and you can flavor it any way you want to.
