I wanna add an item into the game that is food. but I looked and all I can create is a magic item. how do I make regular items in this wonderful character creation tool?
You can not. In the character sheet revamp there will be some capabilities to do so. When is the CSR come out? Excellent question, we don't know, soon, probably.

I hope soon because I'm running a campaign right now and I'm using said item and I'd like to keep track of how many pounds of it I have. Thanks for replying with such haste and i'm looking forward to the CSR.

Hi there Liontamer45,
you can track possessions like this on the character sheet in the "other possessions" section of inventory.
