I want to add selkies to a campaign I've been designing (for those who don't know, selkies are magic seals from Celtic folklore that can turn into humans), but I don't really know what the stat block would look like. Here's what I've got in mind so far:
The selkie can shapeshift into a humanoid and back. In human form, they possess a magic seal-skin; If they aren't holding or wearing the seal-skin, they can't change back into a seal.

Most likely high charisma and dexterity.
Let me know what you think! I'm open to ideas.
I would start with the standard seal, awaken it, and go from there.

Unfortunately, the seal statblock requires purchasing the Icewind Dale book.
