I have a campaign going with content sharing enabled. I use feats to give players special boons specific to their characters. I want to make the feat ahead of time so that the player can add it right away when they get it in game, but I don't want them to accidentally see it before their character gets the ability. Is there a way to make the homebrew feat and temporarily hide it from players, then make it visible later?
Remove it from your collection. Only things in your collection are shared. I usually keep all my cleric, druid, and paladin homebrew spells out of my collection because they show up on everyone's character sheet if they save a PDF. And I have A LOT of homebrew spells.
