I have added a homebrew spell to a character via a homebrew feat. When I add to the character, the feat and spell show up correctly. However, the spells ranged attack "to hit" modifier is only +2 instead of +4. This is a level 4 sorcerer, with a +2 CHA modifier and +2 PB.
Has anyone e else experienced this? And were you able to resolve?

Where you added the spell to the feat, you need to designate Cha as the spellcasting ability. The system won’t automatically detect a character’s spellcasting ability for a feat the way it does for magic items, you have to specify which ability will be used to cast the spell as part of attaching it to the feat. Otherwise it will only apply the PB to the spell attack bonus.
