I have been tinkering with a reimagening of the ocular adept and as I finished it, I (of course) got slapped on the fingers for copyrighted material. I remove all mention of 'beholder' and 'ocular adept', but still I get that notification. How in the Nine Hells am I supposed to figure out what content exactly is still causing this notification? :0/
Speaking of whom, they review homebrew submissions and they’re the people to PM about issues with a homebrew rejection. I suspect that “Ocular Adept” or perhaps an illustration you used is copyrighted or your creation is too similar to an existing subclass. Mentioning copyrighted monsters like beholders or Nagpa is not usually the reason for rejection.

I didn't realise that about the bumping, my bad. However, I can't even put the concept up for moderation, which means I can't easily figure out what it is that is copyrighted... I'll rebuild a copy of the class from scratch to try and figure out what is causing it. I have no images yet, but perhaps one of the spells is the culprit? :0/
Yeah, spells that aren't in the basic rules will block up a submission, which is kinda dumb. You can link to them in the text of your submission, but not in the actual forms.
there's no need to rebuild from scratch - you can resubmit once changes have been made.
If you'd like to discuss what the issue is about, I'm ok with you posting a link to this homebrew here (moderators can see it from the link without it being submitted).
This Subclass cannot be shared with the community for the following reasons:
This homebrew Subclass has data mapped to it that is licensed content or private homebrew. This typically occurs when licensed or private homebrew spells are linked to the Subclass.
Remember, private homebrew is automatically shared with other users in your campaigns and does not need to be shared with the community for players to access.
What this usually means is that you have added spells to the subclass that are from purchased content (PHB, Xanathar's etc).
At a glance I can see Enervation from Xanathar's would cause problems.
Thanks for the tip! I found out there was another spell from Xanathar's and one from the PHB that were causing trouble! I've edited them out and it's now up for moderation :)

Bumping is frowned upon by the moderators.

You should be able to message a moderator directly. When a submission is rejected, it usually has the name of the mod who reviewed it, no?

Heya,
there's no need to rebuild from scratch - you can resubmit once changes have been made.
If you'd like to discuss what the issue is about, I'm ok with you posting a link to this homebrew here (moderators can see it from the link without it being submitted).

That's great! This is the link: https://www.dndbeyond.com/characters/subclasses/27172-adept-of-the-eyes
At the top of the homebrew page it states:
