Kind of off-topic, but I couldn´t find any posts related to this:
When making a homebrew subclass with Beyond´s system, can you somehow implement the warlock style spellcasting for non-spellcaster classes, like they did with Blood Hunter´s Order of the Profane Soul?
I couldn´t manage to change it from the regular half level spellcasting (like Eldritch Knight).
I tried for forever to get the Profane Soul's half Pact Magic onto a Rogue subclass. No dice whatsoever, all they allow is basic arcane caster progression. Pact Magic doesn't seem to be available for anything but Blood Hunter subclasses (since you can forcibly co-opt a copy of Profane Soul to do it) or warlocks.
It's kinda hogshyte, there's so many cool things one could do with partial warlock progression like that. I want my bloody Beguiler q.q...
Create a subclass feature called Pact Magic and dndbeyond will add the spell progression akin to profane soul blood hunter to the subclass you're making.

That only works for Blood Hunter subclasses. In a subclass for any other class it just adds a broken version of Spellcasting.
When making a subclass create a subclass feature and specifically name it "Pact Magic" or "Spellcasting" and dndbeyond will add the spell progression for it. You can't give spellcasting/pact magic to a class that already has one or the other. Additionally, dndbeyond automatically makes it a 1/3 caster like arcane trickster/eldritch knight/profane soul. If there is a way to change it to 1/2 or full I don't know how to do it. (Also it would be broken to have level 20 caster + level 20 anything else)
Subclass feature named "Pact Magic" with any short description and description you want. When making the subclass before your initial save, and before you can make subclass features. Make sure you have the spellcasting ability modifier chosen, yes the class can cast spells, and which spell list you want the class to be able to choose from to cast spells.

Huh... options only seem to be full or half caster.
You'd think the options should be 1/3 Caster, Half Caster, Full Caster, Warlock Slots. Maybe even half-lock Slots...
I never realised I wanted a Barbarian with Pact Magic until just now. I want an Eldritch Invocation that lets you Eldritch Blast while Raging.

The spell slots are still broken for a 1/3 Caster of Pact Magic. It displays as normal spell slots (though they are named as "Pact Magic")
