I'm trying to use the create-a-subclass feature on the site to create a monastic tradition that uses Way of the Four Elements as a template.
I'm a first time user, and I'm having trouble filling it in.
With several options (or features?) available at featured levels, do I create each one of those as a feature, or as a class feature option?
example:
at third level, choose two Focus and one Ritual from the following : Focus1, Focus2, Focus3, Focus4, Ritual1, Ritual 2, Ritual3
At sixth level, choose an additional Focus and additional ritual: Focus5, Focus6, Focus7, Ritual4, Ritual5
At 11th level, choose an additional Focus and additional ritual: Focus8, Focus9, FOcus10, Ritual6
At 17th level, choose an additional Focus and additional ritual: Focus11, Focus12, Focus13, Ritual7
Like WotFE, unchosen options from previous levels are available at each featured level. Focus powers emulate spells with instant effects, rituals emulate spells with extended durations.
I'm just not sure how to punch that all into the subclass creator! I've tried and it isn't shareable due to reasons.
Any suggestions? If I wanted to add WotFE into the creator, how would I do it? That would work for my homebrew.
To load WotFE in as the subclass from which you are starting, you have to buy either the subclass, or the PHB from this website.
When you put in each Feature, you enter each option individually and then enter at which levels they get to choose. But it can get wonky when you list spells as options if they homebrew it won’t allow it.
I've managed to get it "shareable" by repeating the feature at each Feature Level (so you get the same feature at 3,6,11,17) and adding the different options at the requisite levels.
