Is there any way to make a 1/3 warlock caster, Order of the Profane Soul style, on DDB? If so, how do you do it? I couldn’t seem to figure it out. Any help would be appreciated.

I have tried and tried and tried but it doesn’t work properly. If you attach a subclass feature entitled “Spellcasting” it makes a 1/3 caster like Eldritch Knight and Arcane Trickster. If you instead attach a feature entitled “Pact Magic,” it makes a 1/3 caster like Eldritch Knight and Arcane Trickster. 🤷‍♂️

I also heard tell that Spellcasting doesn’t work properly on a Blood Hunter. I haven’t personally tested it though. So maybe, much like Warlocks, it’s something hard coded into the Base Class. Because if you put “Spellcasting” on a Warlock it just messes up spells known and doubles their Pact Magic Slots.

If you put “Pact Magic” on a regular full caster it just messes up spells known and doubles their Spell Slots until 11th level when it crashes the character sheet because Pact Magic cannot grant 6th-level or higher slots and the whole shebang goes kablewey.

But if you put Pact Magic on a 1/3 or 1/2 caster it would probably double their spell slots the whole way because no 6th+ slots.... At least, in theory anyway. I don’t think I’ve tried that one out yet to find out for sure. 🤷‍♂️

No problem. Hopefully they’ll add it soon. I tried to make a Profane Soul blood hunter and it seemed to work fine, so they could probably add the ability to make them.
