Can we not get a built in critical hit rule that just doubles the damage dice/die? It's a pretty standard rule set in homebrew games/

 Do you mean on the DDB character sheet’s built in dice roller? You can roll Crits now. If you are on a PC, right click on the damage dice, if on mobile long hold the damage, and you can roll Crit.

That "rolls the damage dice twice".

I believe the OP is asking about "roll dice once, double result, add any bonuses/modifiers". Which is a common homebrew rule since it's also the homebrew rule used on Critical Role.

They wrote “doubles the damage dice/die” not “doubles the rolled damage” so I wasn’t sure.

Apologies. To clarify yes, I meant roll the die/dice once, and double the amount.
