I've been looking for a while for a comprehensive and extensive guide to use modifiers and such to build custom items and subclasses, but all I managed to find are the basic tutorials on the webpage and they are not helping at all, so I decided to come to you guys for some help. I'll be as specific as I can:
I'm designing a monk subclass that adds elemental damage to unarmed strikes. I can't find a way to do this for my life.
I want to design an item that bumps the DC of Stunning Strike up by 1. No idea how I can manage it.
In general, when i'm meddling with modifiers in the homebrew section, I have no idea what stuff does until I try it out. Needless to say it's frustrating.
Can you guys help me or point me toward some extensive guides? I'm willing to do the works but I can't find any resource about it.
Public Mod Note
(Davyd):
Moved to Homebrew & House Rules
We currently cannot add damage to an unarmed strike, you will have to make it as a separate action with the “activation type” set to “special” and it will have to be rolled separately.
We currently cannot alter base class features such as Stunning Strike. You will have to make it plain txt and the player will have to adjust it manually on their character sheet.

I hope that helps.
