Hey there! So I created this homebrew domain for cleric that is kinda got some divination wizard and wild magic sorcery aspects to it. I've called it Astral Domain and you can read about it here. But I'm testing it out in a character sheet to make sure everything works properly before I finally actually use it. But I'm having some trouble with some of the features.
One question I did have was is it possible to make a magical item listed as starting equipment rather than having to search for it in equipment?
And also how does one add in a damage modifier to a normal weapon attack starting at a certain level (i.e. level 8 and then it increases again at level 14)?
Other than that I don't think I have any other immediate questions. If you'd like to just check it out and give me some feedback I'd 100% appreciate it. <3

Only as part of a Background, not a subclass. Depending on the item, you might be able to fake it without an item at all however.
You could add a bonus to all weapon attacks, or all melee attacks, or all ranged attacks. Anything more specialized than that would have to be plain txt.
Oh! The item itself is something else I had to homebrew for the subclass, but it's alright it's not too hard to add it to your equipment (as it doesn't cost anything or weigh anything either). Just was wondering if there was an easier/quicker way.
As for the bonus suggestion, thanks so much! That should work hopefully.
Edit: I think I figured it out, possibly. Is there also a way to do it with healing? Essentially the subclass level gives them a bonus 1d6 for healing hit points as well.
