For some reason my homebrew class can't get spells added as some that are always learned, and not added to the spell list. Like how the new spells for the UA Clockwork sorcerer works.
It's the sorcerer, and so far I've tried it the way that the ranger subclasses does it. Where you have a trait at level 1, and that gets spells added at certain levels.
Did you list it in text, or did you actually add spells using the coded functions? Did you use the “Additional Spell List” section of the feature, or did you use the “Spells” section? I cannot easily tell you how to fix it, because I’m not sure exactly what you did. If you can actually give me some real details about it, that would be better.
Actually, the easiest way to teach you how to do it is by telling how I learned to everything in the homebrewer: Do yourself a favor and make a Ranger Subclass using one of those Xanathar’s subclasses as a template. You will be able to dissect it and see how it works for yourself.
Okay. After you added those spells through that class feature, did you re-save the entire subclass using the main [SAVE CHANGES] button under Basic Information?
In that case, the best thing you can do is post links to both the character and the homebrew in this thread and wait for a Mod or Staff member to help. Only they can look at the actual guts of your homebrew. And they can see that even if it isn’t published.
I took a look at how the Clockwork Sorcerer had the spells setup and compared it to your example - the only difference was the "Always Prepared' dropdown when configuring the individual spell. I've changed that to no selection (just the dash) for the Detect Evil and Good spell and it looks like it is showing up on the character. I haven't changed Arcanist's Magic Aura, but if you have a play with changing that it "should" resolve it.
I told you someone would help you. I could never have seen what Sorce did, it would have taken me a day of asking you questions before I eliminated everything else and asked about that. Since Sorcerous don’t prepare their spells, so you just leave that one blank.

There are different ways to do that depending what base class you are working with.

I used the "Spells" section, as from what I read, the "Additional spell list" just adds them to your spell list, and not as some you got already.
I already did try to do the whole ranger subclass, and I have pretty much copied all it has, except for the casting modifier.

Indeed I did. It's why I've asked here. I can't see what is done wrong at all.

Wary the wizard who focuses on homebrew, for he can create nightmares that you wouldn't even dream of

I did try that, doesn't change it for for example Zephyr Strike, but it did work for Evil and Good though back when I tried.
Alright nevermind, for SOME reason, it works for Zephyr Strike now.
There are occasionally server caching issues and sometimes some stuff take a few minutes to catch up.
