Behind the door in the other room, Gruenic readies an action to cast bless on Garavant, Sila and Lucy if negotiations appear to be going south. He listens with hope and curiosity.

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
Lucy says nothing but smiles. And anyone who spent at least a half day with her should know that Lucy's smile is not… smile. It's more like a wolf's snarl. Her one hand is touching the longbow and the other hand is hanging above the pouch in which the Elf wizard stores her magical components. Lucy's green eyes burn silently, waiting to explode.
Ready Action: If negotiation doesn't end well, cast Webtoduergar leader and her body guards.
The female duergar looks at Garavant intently as he talks; she seems to follow his words rather than patiently waiting for the fighting to start...she's listening.
"Well, you make a good point - and the body of my man lying out there suggests I won't find any of my colleagues in the throne room either. I tell you what, elf; if you let us keep what we have and don't harm any more of my team, you can have free roam of this floor. We just want to use the forge"
Sila raises an eyebrow hearing the negotiations turning well. She doubts that they'd have any interest in the town and are deep enough down, but can they be trusted? We might have already killed their smiths. Trusting in the style she's seen so well in Garavant, she waits.
Garavant replies with a slight nod of his head and another smile. "Well I for one have no interest in using a forge,"he says. "I would not know where to start and certainly would only embarass myself before such skilled smiths as you and yours must be." He doesn't bother to correct her on his lineage, supposing all half-elves look like elves to some.
After a moment, he adds: "You have, though, sparked my curiousity. Two quick questions. What are you forging? And have you seen any sort of nasty creatures or monsters about on this floor you've so kindly offered to us?"
Bree, at first a bit silent because she wasn't expecting them to really talk, walks in and stands besides Garavant. She whispers to only him (and maybe some party members standing real close): "Don't forget to add Lucy's sword as part of the negotiation. And maybe some magical secrets? 😬"
Lucy's smile fades away as she listens to the answer of the female duergar. To be honest, she wants to kill all these gray dwarves. Not just she loves to slay her foes but because her grandmother made a contract with the original owner of the stronghold. But she stays silent this time.
Lucy trusted Garavant to negotiate with the duergers, so she has to accept the result. No matter how murderous she is, the Elf wizard is loyal to her friends. However… She is not so loyal to her enemies. There will be a chance. Lucy thinks like a hungry spider. There is always a chance.
@Bree
Lucy's smile returns when she hears Bree's words. " Oh thank you for reminding me, Bree. Yeah, we are here to find the treasure of Durgeddin. Especially the heirloom of my house. You,duergers, better stay away from it. Because it's a VERY powerful and valuable artifact. "
The leader shrugs at Garavant’s questions: “This is – was - Durgeddin’s forge. We’re hoping that his master skill remains within, crafting weapons and armour for our clan and maybe for sale.
As for creatures, well, this is an abandoned stronghold and a few beasties have moved in. North of the throne room you’ll find undead, and the kitchen south west of there seems cursed with a poltergeist of some sort…”
She seems to pause a moment before looking at one of her companions, who shrugs in response.
“There’s also the small matter of a dragon in the basement. Might have that fancy sword you’re looking for.
So, are we all leaving here alive to spend at least one more night in our blankets?”
Bree's interest is peaked at poltergeist, but when the dragon is mentioned she can't hide her enthusiasm. "A dragon?! That is amazing! Thanks for the information!" she looks to the rest of the party to see if they also plan on leaving this alone. "Do you by chance have any map of the places you've been?"
Insight check to determine if Bree believes these Duergar will leave them be: 11
@Gruba the map question is more for me as a player than for Bree, Bree would be more than happy to just get a description of the different rooms mentioned by the Duergar.
Bree is looking at the Duergar with great expectation during the explanation. When she's finished she looks a bit surprised "But where would the dragon be?! How could you forget to mention the dragon?!"
" Dragon, you say? " Lucy's eyes flared with excitement. Her face is a kid who tries to reach a sweet bun then finds a whole cake which has chocolate, fruits, nuts and another cake on top of it. " Oh this exploration is just getting better and better. Do you know the color of the dragon? " She asks the female duergers.
@Everyone
" Before reaching the dragon, we have to deal with some monsters. Humm… " Lucy reviews the map that she makes with Minor Illusion. " How about visiting the old shrine first? If the undead are Dwarves, they might remember the contract made between their leader and my family… If they are rotten beyond reasoning then that can't help."
Garavant stands back slightly as the other, brighter members of the party work out the details after he's apparently generated a great deal of good will with the druegars.
"Perhaps the dragon will be as reasonable as our new friends here,"he says to the party with a nod toward the druegars. "Though I've heard they usually are quite possessive of their treasures."
He regards the druegar leader again. "M'lady, you've been most helpful,"he says. "It is refreshing to meet reasonable folks."
He nods at Lucy's suggestion. "That sounds as good a plan as any,"he says.
Gruenic nods at the Dueregar with a smile and crosses the room to the closets and opens them, looking within. He leaves the talking to Garavant, but searching for any weaponry or jewels, gold that they may have hidden away. “Just checking. Wait, you said these were closets. We are headed back the other way. Thank you for helping us, we have no quarrel with you.”

As Gruenic crosses the room to inspect the 'closets', Sila watches the Duergar for any indication that they may have been less than truthful. insight19 (passive 14)
The lady grins lingeringly at Bree’s exclamation: “Oh yes, well…that’s an issue. The dragon’s lair is down a chasm south east from here and it’s normally accessible through the forge. But, as you’ve kindly agreed to stay clear of there, I suppose I can let you take the back way”
She points over to the right-hand ‘closet’ in the room as Gruenic reaches and opens it, revealing a small room.
“Inside that room is a hidden door that leads east. Go through here and then take your first right to head south. There will be a secret door at the end of that corridor, takes you into the chasm chamber. From there, down the ladder to meet old scaly”
At Lucy’s question she replies “Black, darker than a moonless night. Not that the colour should matter; you either please a dragon or you feed it”
She nods appreciatively at Garavant’s good grace, then says “Aye, there’s no profit in dying”
(Gruenic spots the hidden door easily that exits this room to the east)
@Sila:
You noticed some conflict in the duergar as she revealed the secret doors; these must have been an ace card she wanted to keep to herself, therefore it is truly in her interests to keep you out of the forge. You see no sign of deceit from her.

Garavant stifles back a chuckle at Lucy's words coming on the heels of Bree's reminder, but there is an amused sparkle in his eyes.
He looks to the druegar leader. "It is true what she says," he assures them. "I am sure you understand the importance of family heirlooms, eh?"

Sila joins the others, nodding. "Peace for a night but any hostile action will be met swiftly."
Bree finds the duergar hard to read; not overly animated, but no overt sign of deception either.
"Sorry I didn't map the area for you" she says sarcastically, then explains again what she knows (see commentary after the map):
1: "Some sort of old shrine, protected by the undead"
2: "A hallway and load of old dorms, I think it's haunted so we stay clear"
3&4: "Those are just closets" (this is the room you are currently in)
5: "The forge, where my team are working; I'd...appreciate you staying clear of them"
6: "The kitchens, plus a poltergeist"
7: "Goes up towards the surface, some trogs live up there and leave us in peace" (this is where you came from)
