Gruenic shouts at the dire wolf as a free action, "You're through you mutt, we're going to have to put you down!" He glares at the dire wolf, readying his hammer if it is still up.

Sila, surprised that Vak has survived the gauntlet of attacks so far, slashes again at the beast following it up with a strike to the side of the head.
Short Sword Attack: 22 Damage: 8 (with adv thank you Lucy/Artemis)
Unarmed Attack: 19 Damage: 6 (just the one attack with adv)

"Put this thing out of its misery already!" Garavant hisses as he prepares to strike again if need be. If the beast survives Sila's attacks, he will look to put it down, taking advantage of the confusion surrounding the bleeding wolf.
Lucy’s guided arrow barely glances Vakand shatters against the far wall. Artemis circles the target area, hooting in what appears to be a tone of...amusement?
Gruenic also fails to land a killing blow on the wolf, swinging slowly and smashing his hammer into the stone floor just as Vak skips out of the way.
Artemis, satisfied with her commentary on Lucy’s marksmanship, returns to her orders and provides assistance to Silaby distracting Vak as the monk prepares to attack.
Silatakes her chance and thrusts her shortsword into the wolf while it is distracted. Vakgives one final howl before falling silent beside the bodies of her sister and master.
The room falls quiet as the final rings of battle echo around the room and fade, silent as the defeated fighters.
(Well done, that was nearly worthy of a second chapter! Please add 340xp each)
A cursory glance shows that the room has two wooden chests against the south wall.
Garavant lets out a slightly exasperated sigh of relief as the second dire wolf goes down with a howl of pain.
"Well then,"he says, grimacing slightly as he holds his hand over the wound left by the beast. (OOC: 14/24 HP)
His eyes catch the wooden chests against the wall. "If they're locked, I suppose this great oaf here would be the keeper of the keys, yes?" He searches the ogre for keys and anything else of value before proceeding to the chests to look them over.
Garavant takes the key. At the chests, he checks them for any traps (likely crude, given what he's seen from these orcs thus far) before using the key to try to open them, assuming they are locked.
Sila shares Garavant's exasperation at the end of the battle. "Now I almost feel badly for the beasts, they fought well." She reaches into her pack and pulls out aGreater Healing Potion for each Garavant and Greunic (found earlier). "It looks like you need these more than I do. I also have a standard healing, but I don't think that will do the trick. We could also camp here and rest for a bit?" then glancing at the wolves "If anyone wishes to help me, we could try to salvage some of the fur?" survival8
She braces the doors that they came in with crisscrossing javelins in the latches while they search and pulls out a torch, lighting it with the smouldering ones in the sconces to replacing one that has burned out.
(Greater healing potion 4d4+4 ea. Standard heals only 2d4+2 if one of you would like to save yours?)
"Phew, that was a slippery wolf. Good you guys got some hits in. I think we did good all things considering."
At Gruenic's remark about the ears Bree grins: "I was asking myself the same thing. Did our assignment also promise money for killing Ogres? Maybe we should just take them and claim they should pay for that." And Bree starts cutting of the ears of the Ogre, she will than continue to the wolfs "While we are at it, why not...". She will also help Sila with gathering some fur (so add another die ;) "Maybe I can use a patch of this fur as memorabilia of this adventure and some spell later, I would just need a small patch, you can have the rest"
As for using the healing potions Bree would argue it's a better plan to keep those for emergencies, and for now take a little rest. "We have the door barricaded, so we should be safe for now. Also I don't think many orcs dare to enter the room of this Ogre."
When Garavant opens the chest and she isn't too busy with other things, her curiosity would have Bree standing next to Garavant hoping to look over his shoulder (🤔 under his shoulder? How does this work with halflings? :P)
Gruenic takes the potion and offers many thanks. He agrees with Bree, "I'll hold onto this, use it only when the need is dire. Let's see if we can lock this door and rest here in the room." He looks at the door for a lock, closing it. "Now, let's rest up for a bit. And see what this big bugger was hiding in his chests. From my tight spot in the sack I heard old Garash talk about this one over and over, he fits the description, he was pretty scared of him. There must be something good in there." After looking in the chests with his companions, he prepares to rest and meditate, saying his prayers to Selune for healing.

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
As Sila seals the door, Garavant checks the chests and, seeing no sign of danger, unlocks and opens them.
As you crowd around to see inside, you are not disappointed; a horde of gold pieces (120 each), a Potion of Climbing and a beautiful, finely crafted rapier with runes etched into the hilt.
(Sila's javelin lock looks sturdy; feel free to take a short rest)
Bree, not needing a short rest will cast identify on the rapier (unless someone just want to directly attune of course (I would think it goes to Garavant?)).
Artemis enjoys the tender skinless wolf meat that adventurers have just prepared for her. Blood splashes everywhere and stains the white feathers of the owl. Lucy frowns and takes distance from her familiar. "What a mess! I won't wash you, stupid bird!" Artemis raises her head and laughs. ( And I don't want to be washed by you either, master) The owl and elf glares at each other with red hot hatred. Then they turn away their eyes.
Lucy picks the battle axe from the dead ogre. Just when she is about to throw the great axe toward the owl, Garavant opens the treasure chest and she sees what's inside it. The axe drops on the floor with a loud crash. Using the faint power of bladesong left in her body, Lucy closes the distance and stands in front of Bree almost in the blink of an eye. "What is it! " Her eyes are fixed on the beautiful blade. "Tell me what it is!"

Ulfe does indeed have a small iron key in a pouch on his belt; apart from that he has nothing on him but a mundane greataxe.
Gruenic assists Garavant in searching Great Ulfe’s body. “Will his big ears fit in the bag?” Gruenic looks around and gives Bree a smile.
