Ecko jumps. This was the first time books had harmed him in his life. He spins around, continuing to strike his dagger on fire like a match.

Raastin sighs, swing away again. "I've had the book thrown at me before, but never quite so violently. It's time to close the book on this encounter!"

The animated library ceases to be a threat. The book with the single letter of L on it's spine drops to the floor and everything remains still. Eralynn breathes a sigh of relief, sheathing the sword that she apparently can't hit with. With a caring glance, she looks around at everyone making sure you're ok.

Picking up one of the books with it's chain attached and using it like a weapon, it will act like a Flail +1.

"Nice hit boy!" Garmus says, giving Raastin a slap on the back.  "You, on the other hand"...pointing at Eralynn..."not so much.  Back ta our training sessions, lass."

Ecko chirps distraughtly. He rummages around through the chains and books, selecting a few that pique his interest. He wasn't a thief, he promises - just one curious in the nature of the world. He attempts to investigate what animated the chains to attack, fruitlessly sighing in frustration.

"If we've obtained what we're in this room for, I don't want to wait for it to reanimate."
