Z consults his map and notes. By my reckoning, this is the route we have taken so far. With now multiple groups of Goblins to the south, Z agrees with Pepin that we should try the Eastern route before we commit to a fight with the Goblins.
As you head back East looking for a way around the cave-in and avoid the goblins to the South you hear the noises to the East suddenly stop. There is a whisper that echoes and carries to your ears.

You hear a number of soldiers approaching and it is quickly confirmed that this is another of the strike teams roaming the sewers. They share some intel with you.
"At least one of the goblin tunnels has breached the sewers already. We encountered 2 squads so far and heard several others stumbling about, but before dealing with them we wanted to reach you and make sure you knew everything that was going on."

(The signal you send will alert the strike teams and give them time to get out. How you get out was never really gone over, maybe they thought you would just wait it out... or maybe they figured you being adventurers and all you would have, or figure some other way out?)

"Quickly, to the pumping station. Once we are there, I suggest Pepin gets to work on starting the pumps and flooding the sewers. Lets us know if you need any help. The rest of us should spread out and scout out an escape route while Pepin is busy."
Z then also performs his dismiss-to-pock-plane trick to recall Irraxan. It may be useful to have an extra scout.
As you're heading back East to find the last junction that will take you North or West or even Northwest again you spot a lone person heading in your direction with some haste. He is dressed in traveler's clothes with a hat and some dust and dirt cover his clothing as if he just survived a cave-in. In the distance you can hear the clash of steel as the soldiers and goblins engage each other to the South.
