GOBLIN HORDE

Bow will stay back of course and takes two more shots, hoping to get this troll quickly and move forward towards the city.

Petcan wipes the sweat from his face and pours some water over his face to try to clean off some of the grime of the past few days. “I know it’s far from over, but… I’m still thrilled we’ve made it. And I want to keep helping. Who’s in charge?”

"uhhhh, dude, I think we are."

"Now, now, I don't think we will be in charge in such a large city. however, let's find out who is after making sure the refugees are cared for."

Randall:

As they approach the city, Randall makes sure the refugees are in as good a condition medically as possible, while still keeping an eye out for goblin scouts.

Randall:

Looking at the captain with concern, Randall says, "But there are hordes of goblins headed this way.  Surely you can't leave the refugees exposed outside the walls without additional protection.  What is your plan in the event of an attack?  Will the army ride out to meet the goblins, or will the townspeople be brought in behind the safety of the walls?"

Leaning forward and speaking more softly to the captain, he adds, "You would not leave them unprotected to be slaughtered out here, would you?"

“You’ve got supplies, but no space? Is it at least fortified in some way? The southern wall is directly in their path!” Petcan’s voice is more plaintive than belligerent.

“Great, so we can go in now? I have some things I wish to do.”

Randall:

Calling over the refugee leader, Randall says, “Mayor Reeve, what do you propose?  Do you want to stay with your villagers or come in and try to book passage for them, or something else?”

"Brother Randall, you take our treasure from the Hook Horror while I see if I can figure out why four goblin hordes would unite to attack Laurentiis, yeah?"

"Ceo, I'd like to go with you" Grim says "I don't see any way to fight that many Goblins unless we figure out what is going on"

Ceo nods to Grim and then turns to the captain;

”I will need access to any libraries you have, an audience with the highest authorities in this city, and  to find a college.”

“Wow, you guys must be pretty rich, I don’t have any money for stuff like that. I think I’ll be lucky to book passage on a ship.” Petcan scratches his arm a bit nervously

"I was thinking more along the lines of talking to people. Asking around if anything has changed recently" Grim suggests, a little concerned about Ceo now

"I don't have the money but if these people want their butts spared I need to be able to figure out what on this earth is going on! Now, are we going in or no?"

"I'm going" Grim says

Ceo wants to look for more information about the Goblin Hordes and find a smithy where he can turn the hooks into swords. Hopefully, he can find the smithy first so he can do some research while the swords are being made. If he can find a College that would be even better. With a quick stop at the bakery for  cake pop, of course.

"I'm going to seek out guidance" Grim says "Temples of Lliira can often be difficult to find and take many forms. One form that's these temples take are found in the better areas of the market place of most cities where the goddess oversees joy of a more . . . 'transactional' nature. It should be easy to find and there will be someone there who can answer my questions or point me in the right direction" he adds "I will meet you back with the others south of the wall at dusk"

Randall:

Brother Randall patiently awaits Mayor Reeve’s response before moving into the city.

Petcan will head for the docks to see what’s happening with getting people out.
