You are all level 4 now. Advance your total hp and take a long rest as the 'Refugees of Garrum' cannot go on any longer and this is where they camp for the night.
There is some discussion before the long rest about whether to try and cross the river somehow, or follow along it's bank.

During the first hour of the long rest Bow walks around camp listening here and there looking for the captain; if I find him I tell him where he can find the horses, and if his outriders that went to the city to inform them are back yet; hoping for information. If I didn't I will ask around again after the rest.

Randall:
Sending his Spiritual Weapon to pound the foe one last time for good measure, Randall rides to the encampment and offers what aid he can to the weary refugees. He also assessed the river, looking for natural fords or narrow spots where a crossing might be made by wading or using an improvised bridge.
Medicine for the refugees: 19

Bow, Randall, and Petcan are able to determine that the best course of action is to follow along the riverbank until they reach a bridge. The 'Refugees of Garrum' are able to share that there are 2 or 3 bridges along the river but they don't have a map and are not sure exactly where they are.
The outriders have not returned yet. Randall's efforts spread comfort and hope amongst everyone.

"Bow, Petcan, do you think you can scout out the nearest bridge from here so the refugees know which direction to move in the morning? I can make sure they are comfortable tonight, and the rest of us can keep them safe in case any forward scouts of the goblin army make it this far," suggests Randall.
