Passing through the gate you enter the great city of spires, the grand city of towers, Laurentiis. A capitol of trade and bastion of wealth. The streets are less crowded than what you would expect but that can be attributed to war preparations.
(if anyone has anything they would like to do in downtime I can sprinkle some downtime in while you are here in Laurentiss in addition to regular stuff?)

"A rightful place awaits you in the Realms Above, in the Land of the Great Light. Come in peace, and live beneath the sun again, where trees and flowers grow."

"Run thy sword across my chains, Silver Lady, that I may join your dance.”
Ceo wants to look for more information about the Goblin Hordes and find a smithy where he can turn the hooks into swords. Hopefully, he can find the smithy first so he can do some research while the swords are being made. If he can find a College that would be even better. With a quick stop at the bakery for cake pop, of course.
"I'm going to seek out guidance" Grim says "Temples of Lliira can often be difficult to find and take many forms. One form that's these temples take are found in the better areas of the market place of most cities where the goddess oversees joy of a more . . . 'transactional' nature. It should be easy to find and there will be someone there who can answer my questions or point me in the right direction" he adds "I will meet you back with the others south of the wall at dusk"

The Reeve of Garrum asks you to see about passage on a ship while he stays with the refugees and tries to get them settled. They were hoping for the protection of the walls and are at a loss as to what to do next. They have little coin and fewer options at present.
"Can you enter the city and investigate what options are available? Your help in getting us this far has been a Godsend. Many of the refugees now put their hope in Lathander's hands."

It doesn't take but a moment to catch up to Petcan and make your way toward the docks.
Under different circumstances you might be in more awe of the grand splendor of this city, even stopping to admire it's diverse architecture, but not today as the urgency of the situation has you all hurrying to find some aid for the refugees. Ceo manages to grab a quick cake pop on his way without stopping.
The docks have developed and grown over time to encompass a quarter of this mighty city. There are many, many ships of varying sizes and designs, ranging from rowboats & fishing vessels to warships & galleons. Huge dock cranes load & unload various goods of all sizes; crates, barrels, chests, and an assortment of other odd containers are transported quickly & efficiently onto a ship or off the docks. And all over each dock and almost every ship are people, swarming to and fro, performing some function that helps the whole process continue to run somewhat smoothly.
Also helping in this endeavor is the dockmaster, a dwarf of some girth who's steps as he walks up and down the different docks cause some boards to bend and creak under his impressive weigh. He is accompanied by a group of the watch and several other smaller groups of the watch can be seen at work in other areas on the dock.

”My friend speaks truly, harbormaster. We fled before the goblin horde and managed to get the refugees to the cusp of safety, but were read an official proclamation denying them entry into the city. I don’t know how long they have before the first horde arrives,” adds Randall, worried about the vulnerable state of the refugees and the apparently callous approach of the city defenders.

The harbormaster looks your group up and down before repeating some of what each Petcan & Randall asked of him, "Goblin Hordes! Help! What do you think I can do, I don't own any of these ships? And if there's an entire village of refugees outside you'll want more than one ship anyway."
He seems concerned but at a lost of just how to help you, "Besides, you don't want to go against any proclamations especially during wartime."
