(ooc: if anyone has anything else they would like to do in the great city of Laurentiis, now is your last chance... at least for a while, going to the island will keep you away for a while, you can revisit it later though, so no worries that you will never return to Laurentiis. all mundane supplies can also be restocked form those going to the island, it is meant to be a trade hub after all.)

"A rightful place awaits you in the Realms Above, in the Land of the Great Light. Come in peace, and live beneath the sun again, where trees and flowers grow."

The boats are loaded with surprising efficiency and the voyage begins just before sunrise. As your eyes adjust to the predawn light (dim light) you can see the great city of Laurentiis fading in size. The steady sounds of waves breaking against the hull of the ship and the breeze blowing in your face gives everyone the feel of being at sea and the joys for those who miss it. The rest are considered landlubbers.

Petcan is able to enjoy the first few hours at sea in the predawn light, right before sunrise they retire below decks.
Ceo rides high atop in the crow's nest and will likely be the first to notice things. (make a Perception check)

You can see open sea in all directions, the sunrise is a small blind spot as only bright, blinding light can be seen in that direction.
After a few hours of travel it will be high enough in the sky that you can see all around the ship in every direction.

Bow is not used to boats, and feels a bit wobbly the first couple of hours. But it seems that his agility helps him to get the hang of it quick enough. After he gets the hang of it he will relax a bit more and hangs here and there on deck trying not to be in the way of the crew.

Careful around the water given his propensity to wear heavy armor, Randall nonetheless is up on deck basking in the warmth of the sunrise…He does worship the Morninglord, after all.

Kerric Brightblade - Elven Warrior in "Apocalypse"
The first couple of days at sea are pleasant enough, sunny skies, good wind, and the waves are moderate.
Some of the crew show Bow how a specific sail works, the differences in how to tie them off or hoist them. They are generally a friendly crew and like being at sea. If they don't end up making a sailor out of you yet, at the very least you learn some new knots, how to tie and untie them.
Randall feels a stronger connection to his God as he knows that helping these refugees is important. They wouldn't of made it this far without your help. Once they are settled on the island they will no longer be refugees but settlers with a community to grow once again. Over 900 lives saved by you and your allies definitely favors your God's core beliefs.

Sitting on the other side of the tavern is a half elf with teal hair and lavender eyes wearing a nobles outfit of green with orange trim cut in the latest fashion. She has a lute on her back with a Rapier on her hip. She walks over and watch for a while.
You can estimate that the ships are about 3 hours behind. Whoever they are, the two ships pose no threat to the convoy of ships (some 15 in number and almost half larger than the pursuers) Mynash hired to transport the refugees.

Petcan tries to come above deck at night during their journey, but generally keeps below deck to avoid the blinding sunlight.
