Zamar is rocked by the fingers of answering fire and in the moment, his concentration wavers. His wall of fire comes down. Lera reaches over and pours her healing energy into him to steady her wounded father. "Fine," he thinks. "You want to play? Let's play." He begins strumming again and sings out "Kobold with a lonely heart/ Is not better than a kobold with some broken parts!" As he releases the magic, the cavern shakes and bits of ice fall from the ceiling. Those tunnels might be a bit weaker now. He centers the spell ion the midst of the kobolds in front of the group making sure to get all the spell casters. He then looks over at Woe and says, "Diplomacy time/Is soon to be upon us/Do what you do best" As he finishes the haiku, she feels a charge of energy run through her and feels inspired to persuade the dragon when she returns.
(Lera uses healing hands for 4 hp. Zamar casts shatter at the junction of E6, E7, F6, and F7. 8 points of damage on a successful save and 16 on a failure. 2nd inspiration to Woe - 1d6)
Singe flings three fingers forward, the kobold in front of Woe is hit by a spectral dart and winces at the pain but stands tall. The kobold spellcaster is hit twice and crumples to the ground screaming.
Singe casts magic missile at the kobolds on D5 and D6. D5 is dealt 4 force damage. D6 is dealt 8 force damage and that kobold is dead.

Still dangling helpless and exposed above the fight raging below, Dapple continues his efforts to free himself. Digging into the center, perhaps weakened by the magical fires raging below, he gets a better purchase for leverage and shops at the area around his hand once again [To Hit:19, 8 damage]. Success! His blade bites more effectively than before and the tabaxi is able to finally break free. Just as he does, the boom of Zamar's spell, shakes the cavern, but Dapple is able to keep his grip and avoid a fall [STR Save: 13].
Quickly glancing down, he sees the yawning pit directly below, but off to his left, a pair of kobolds still threaten. Moving cautiously across the slick surface, he shifts laterally until he is above one of the pair [move to above B4] and then carefully sheathes the dagger and draws the rapier. Looking down he pauses, judging his timing to surprise the creature before he drops on it from above...
With a frustrated growl, Shanolia flicks her arcane dagger and mutters the arcane phrase required to ring out a bell around one of the Kobolds at the edge of the pit, but once again nothing happens. Her eyes glow red and the magic pours forth, but in her weakened state she isn't able to cause any harm to the lizards who threaten their survival.
A small rumble begins to build as the group's assault is in full force. Zamar's wall of fire reached far into the ceiling before he dismissed it, searing the ice above and causing small chunks to fall. When he shatters the area directly in front of the majority of the group, the cavern begins to rumble. At first, small chunks continue falling from the ceiling. The kobolds, familiar with what's about to happen, all begin disengaging from the group and rushing towards the Southern exit. As the last remaining elite warrior disengages, a massive boulder of ice falls from the ceiling directly on top of him. There's a slight squeal of pain before he goes still.
These chunky boulders of ice begin falling all around the group. The majority of them are able to avoid anything too large, but Zamar, Shanolia, and Perrin all find themselves pelted by larger chunks (7 damage to Zamar, 5 damage to Shanolia, 11 damage to Perrin). The ceiling begins collapsing all around the group, and they're hard-pressed to find an area where they'll be safe from being buried alive.
"The relevant equation is: Knowledge = power = energy = matter = mass; a good bookshop is just a genteel Black Hole that knows how to read." - Terry Pratchett
Dapple still clings to the wall as the ceiling starts to crumble and rain chunks down into the chamber. His prey below turns to run for the southern end of the room but is too slow as the tabaxi pounces. Dapple drops onto the poor kobolds like a deadly shadow and it drops in a heap, impaled (To Hit: 23, 9 Damage to B4). Rolling with the momentum of his strike, the cat nimbly regains his feet, pulling free his blade as he does (Dex Save: 14), and continuing to dodge the falling blocks of ice.
With a quick glance overhead, and at his fleeing companions, Dapple races for safety, following the remaining kobolds. (Feline Agility, move 80 this round, to E16)
As the kobolds flee from in front of him, Koll steps out into the main cavern, avoiding chunks of ice falling from the ceiling. He looks to his right and sees the pool of water, possibly some kind of underground river, and thinks about diving in. He imagines the dragon storing its treasure hoard somewhere down there and he feels an impulse of greed, as he sometimes does. But he is also feeling very weak, and is doesn't want to chance it. He sees that the cavern he was in is probably the best place to wait out this collapse. The kobolds seem like they've seen this before, so it can't be a total cave in.
Woe sees Koll indecisive facial expression and runs over to him. She grabs his hand.
"Come along, Koll, the kobolds are running away from this cave, we need to leave - and we need to stay together as a group! We cannot risk being split up again!"
Woe tries to pull Koll along to follow everybody else.
"Ok, ok, I'm coming," Koll says looking down on Woe and feeling like a giant child. He follows her after the rest of the group. "There is saying about putting all your eggs in one basket, though. I really feel like things could have gone much better and right now, I feel like one big egg."
The caves around the group continue to rumble, chunks of ice falling faster now as everyone begins their retreat to the Southern sections of the cave. They can all see the kobolds rushing into tiny tunnels that surround a strange shrine to their White Dragon. Even that seems to have sustained damage as a massive chunk of ice detached the head from the body of the ice sculpture. The group rushes into a side-passage just as the Kobold town becomes completely covered in the collapse of the ceiling. The rumbling continues on for nearly ten minutes before it ceases.
The group finds themselves in complete darkness, but also complete silence. The room they presently occupy is the same one that Perrin, Lera, and Koll were trapped in originally. A small cliff leads twenty feet into a narrow tunnel that leads to the main entrance of the Dragon's Lair, but that main entrance has been blocked by the Dragon's controlled ceiling collapse earlier.
Finding herself in complete darkness, but still being able to discern shapes because of her darkvision, Woe finds a small stone and casts light on it with a comforting yellow tone. The group looks around and tries to figure out what to do next.
Perrin, Shanolia and Singe all suggest for the group to rest a little and to tend to their wounds. Woe pulls out her lute and faintly pulls a couple of strings for the first hour, humming positive and upbeating melodies along.
// 'song of rest': everyone who recovers hit dice during this long rest, can add a 1d6 to their recovered points.
After popping her shoulder back into place, Shanolia closes her eyes and relaxes for the first time in what seems like forever. Her heart is still racing from the encounter with first the wolves and then being face to face with the dragon herself, so she steadies and counts her breaths and tries to meditate to the sound of Woe's music.
Throughout the group's short rest, they can hear the scurrying of creatures in the ice around them. Though the kobold's own little tunnels are tiny and impossible for the majority of the group to enter, the kobolds themselves seem to have no problem crawling through them. Because of this, the rest is one of caution. Halfway into the rest they can hear and feel the ice continue to rumble around them, magnified by the dragon as it roars in anger at the state of the kobold town. As if on cue a large chunk of ice shifts into the kobold town, revealing a massive pile of rubble where the small town once stood. As if being railroaded by some magnificent force, the way stands clear for the group to re-enter what remains of the town.
“Woe, feel like playing another scene?" Zamar asks, "I was thinking we go in and offer ourselves as servants of the Dragon. We defer to her power, but be arrogant with respect to the kobolds. We killed them to show her how inferior they were and why we would be better suited as her minions. Then we follow up with the Thraul.“
"Should we try making Dapple invisible?" Singe asks.
"That's not a bad plan." Zamar remarks
Singe walks up to Koll and hands him the Iron Bands of Bilarro, "Here, take this. If the thraul doesn't go as planned, you're going to throw this at the dragon. Also, you should probably hand the thraul to Dapple."
"I assume you don't have any more potions to help?" Perrin asks Singe.
"One, but a dragon is not effected by it." Singe laments.
Woe looks around. Then she replies to Zamar: "I think our original plan to make Dapple invisible and make him fly up to the dragon's nostrils is still a very good idea! How about you and I talk to the dragon, and Dapple flies up and blows the thraul in. Hopefully our show will be good enough to distract her long enough."
"When you throw it, be sure to say the phrase 'Grobbenbend'." Singe instructs Koll.
Dapple perks up at the mention of his name, turning to the pair with a feline stretch. "I'm game if you still think that's worth trying. Sounds exciting! Who has the drug? I'd better take it now, so there's no confusion later."
"Here, Dapple, have some thraul," Koll says as he passes the thraul, "Ilmater, bless us."

“Well, I guess it’s time to get on with it,” Lera said, trying to hide her own fear with mock-cheer. She placed a hand on Dapple’s head, about to cast invisibility on the feline. “Wait, it would probably be easier if you went first, right dad?” She paused.
“It would probably be best,” Zamar replied, strumming a chord on his lute. As soon as the spell had been cast, Lera took her turn, putting the last piece of the puzzle together to get a flying, invisible cat person with drugs.
They assumed Dapple lead the charge, followed by Zamar, then Woe, then Perrin, then Shanolia, then Singe, then Lera, and finally with Koll bringing up the rear.
The group slowly makes their way through the opening into the Kobold's once bustling metropolis of evil. Dapple slides through the opening, followed by the others. Once Koll tries to get through, there's resistance. The opening doesn't seem to be large enough to fit his massive form. He grunts and attempts to push through (waiting for Athletics check).
The kobold hovels are completely destroyed by nearly ten feet of ice, snow, and rock. What once was a smooth ceiling is now a jagged landscape of ice. The ground didn't fare much better, as massive piles of rock and ice litter the ground. At the far end of the cavern, some of the group is able to make out the opening to the Dragon's personal tunnel. It was in here at one point after the collapse... and might still be here.
Zamar calls out as the group carefully picks their way across the rubble and toward the white dragon's tunnel. "Your frozen magnificence? We seek an audience."
Zamar, Dapple, and Singe all spot movement as something snakes its way across the ceiling from one point of cover to another. There's no response to Zamar's call, but they get the feeling she's up there watching.
He decides to continue, looking to Woe for support. "We still have that offering we told you of." He produces the dose of Thraul and holds it up. "I am sorry we were delayed in giving it to you. I am not sorry that your worshippers are gone, though. They were inferior minions and not worthy of you. The ease with which we dispatched the bulk of them should be proof of that. You deserve to be served by beings of greater power who can appreciate and augment your magnificence. Beings like us!"
With a crack of the ice, Koll finally squeezes through the opening. The sound echoes throughout the chamber as he moves forward.
"Excuse me." Koll says as he manages to break through into the chamber.
Woe looks back at Zamar, and gestures, nods and waves along during his explanations. Then she adds another sentence, while she lowers her head to show submission: "Not only would we love to serve you, majesty, but we would like to entertain you as well! This offering that Zamsazar over there is holding up, will be an exquisit experience! But we can also sing and dance and perform theatre for you! Here, let me show you: [Woe sings and dances] "Zaramzamzam, Zaramzamzam, gulli gulli gulli gulli gulli, ram zam zam" [giving a bardic inspiration to Zamar - whose real name she didn't want to reveal.
There's silence as both Zamar and Woe announce their intentions. The silence lingers for what feels like and uncomfortable amount of time. During this time, the air around the group turns from cold to freezing as a figure drops from the ceiling and onto the rough terrain ahead. "You have killed my followers, ruined my plans, and offer me but a handful of herbs for my century's life of work? Do you think me a fool?" She asks. "Do you feel my domain is nothing more than a farce for you to invade and destroy?" Each word adds to the cold until you can all feel your bones freezing in your bodies. "RUN!" Singe cries.
Shanolia needs no second telling, hastily pulling her battered and bruised self from the refuse pit up to the group. "Where to?"
Singe does not respond as he dashes to the other side of the room.
Shanolia's eyes roll as she limps behind the wizard as fast as she can, holding her shoulder where one of the larger chunks of rock hit her.
Singe uses his movement and action to move to F15.
